Avoid

My parents used this joke of an agency to sell their house. Did nothing untill they handed in their notice after receiving barely any arranged visits over 10 weeks.. 1 day before the contract ceased they amazingly found someone.. no memorandum of sales was issued and the agent led them on for 2 months. After this the agency kept attending the house and even sent around the buyer who they were waiting on weeks on weeks to try and strong arm them into a sale. Parents ended up going with another agency (who they got an offer within 4 days) and they said that they wouldn't be stung with 2 lots of agency fees when clearly there are in contract.. do not touch or you will regret. I welcome a response from them...

When I was a tenant, they often came in with little notice. Recently, a group of friends and I decided to view a new property in Oxford. The agent just didn't show up at all! There was no message or apology afterwards. We were just forgotten about. Perhaps they found a more lucrative tenant, but it's still nice to be told that the viewing is off rather than just ignoring you and not turning up.

This agency resembles the height of unprofessionalism. The agent did not turn up at all to the scheduled viewing, which was confirmed in writing several days prior to the appointment. The agency did not respond to three (3) telephone calls following up on the agent's no-show. After waiting over 20 minutes at the property, I decided to call it quits and go home. Tardiness is unacceptable in real estate agents. This is especially so, given that the property in question (on Banbury Road) is only a few blocks away from their office on Walton Well Road. I arranged my day around this appointment, rescheduling appointments to make the viewing fit. They disrespected me by not showing up. An agency that shows no respect to its customers does not deserve its customers' patronage. Stay away and find a more professional letting agency.

Waste of time if you wanna rent with them and also rude over the phone .

The initial meeting with JH was professional and friendly. Once he had secured our signature to use Balgores, without being asked we started to be looked after by other members of staff . I was at home twice when Balgores turned up unannounced and let themselves in to find out later they had forgotten to confirm a show around. We were lied to on numerous occasions once our property had been sold, fortunately we knew one of the new owners who confirmed what they had told us was not true. We were also given very bad advice regarding renting a home, we were told not to start looking until 2 weeks before completion which has left us homeless Their renting department is worse than their buy/selling dept, we never once heard back from them. I tried complaining to JH but have heard nothing for 2 weeks so have no other option but to leave negative feedback here

Generally they are fine. HOWEVER I have been a tenant for one year and several times they have performed some maintenance without scheduling a time with me. They just send their workman to do the job without giving me 24hrs notice. First their excuse was "oh we tried calling but you didn't pick up". Well I have no reception at work. The lack of response doesn't mean you just enter anyway. I told them to contact me via e-mail as I check that every 30 mins. To quote one of their agents Simon Smith: “Dear Raj Thank you for the email and again I am very sorry I have made sure that the key is never given out without your approval, I will also make everyone aware that email is better Kind regards Simon” Yet today I find that they again allowed access without providing me any notice. If you value your privacy and your rights as a tenant avoid this agency because they clearly do not understand this little thing that we're all supposed to abide by...the law!

They did not get back to me !!

We rented from these con artists for 5 years paying money on top of our rent for maintainace we waited 4 years for them to come and paint exterior this didn't happen the bungalow was like a butcher's freezer so called double glazing was knackered the rent went up and up and up so we left the cheeky con artist charged us £400 for damaged carpet which was like it when we moved in and the cheeky f_cker said there was a flea infestation and know I hear they have won an award for their con shop what the f_ck be warned con artist stay well clear
