Ever since I moved in to my rented property since February, My main bathroom for the master bedroom Was bad and also stair rails is bad as well and I’ve been sending mail to belvoir to come and fix all this issue. They keep sending people to come and check and nothing has been done and I keep paying rent all the time the basic amenities for me to enjoy the rented apartment I collected from them, is not been fixed up to now thank you. also, the toilet stinks and I’ve complained, nothing has been done yet.
Terrible service, misleading and xenophobic attitude...
I don't know the so called marvelous experience of others mentioned here ;but I had awful experience with this team . Clearly horrible service. Walked day to day to their office in Ipswich to get a house to let and submitted all paperwork as soon as possible but by seeing the ethnicity coloumn ( Indian ) the land lord neglected. Hope for every one the details are clear and precise.
Be prepared to pester.we were letting a property through belvoir for a few years and every time we had a problem with the property and needed to get in contact it would take ages to hear any response from them let alone any action. One of our favourites was when our shower developed a leak that was directly over the kitchen light and we were told to not use the shower untill it was sorted (would be acceptable if it wasn't 8 weeks to get it sorted to a poor standard) many other things they wouldn't even bother to respond to unless we emailed them daily in order to be a big enough nuisance to warrant a reply. belvoir Ipswich is such a joke that when it came to look for a new property seeing one rented through them it was an immediate turn off. Avoid like the plague
Quite frankly, dealing with Belvoir is similar to the little Britain sketch of computer says no, I had wanted to put forward an offer of above the monthly PCM of a property but they wont put it forward to the landlord even though I am prepared to go through all the checks etc. until I have viewed it Next Thursday! so potentially losing out of a property because they cant accommodate a viewing and wont let me apply because its company policy. After working in the industry for 10 years 2008-2018, some thing's don't change.....Belvoir are still trash. If you are a landlord I strongly urge you to just ignore any drivel that Belvoir give you and use an agent that has moved with the times, uses their common sense and puts the landlord first. Wasn't long ago in the pandemic that online/virtual viewings were the only way and made perfect sense.
One star only for their front line viewing agents as they were lovely and helpful. But office staff is unprofessional, there is no clear communication with client or even within the staff. Can't complain about their behaviour because the Senior most staff is always on annual leave as I was told Everytime I tried to reach her. Had a horrible experience. Wasted a whole month because of miscommunication.
