Absolutely fraud company. I have asked to cancelled my subscription 3 times between they failed to do & continued to bill charges and unpaid dues.

I just can’t believe the hassle of trying to get though to this agent … don’t need their business

Not a reputable estate agent, they deliberately market properties at well under the market value to secure a quick sale and not in the interest of their clients. If you want a decent estate agent in the Hartford area there are many better choices than this outfit.

Beware of renting through Colburn Properties when Perry Bishop is acting as your agent. The deposit return process is slow, poorly communicated, and includes unfair deductions. What should be straightforward becomes a stressful and frustrating experience — tenants deserve far better.

Agencies are hardly easy to deal with , but this one is on another level. Slow, condescending and mostly unhelpful.

I’ve had consistently poor experiences with this agency over the past couple of months. Each time I enquire about a property, I’m asked for my availability, only to be told shortly afterwards that viewings are suddenly “fully capped.” This has happened repeatedly, even with properties that have been sitting on the market for weeks. At this point, I genuinely don’t understand why they ask for availability at all instead of simply offering the slots they’re actually willing to honour. On the one occasion I did manage to get a viewing, the property had a very strong cigarette smell, which the agent tried to pass off as “new carpet smell.” Despite the place clearly not being right for us, we were pressured to apply immediately “or it would be taken.” That same property is still listed months later and has already been reduced twice. Overall, the pattern feels misleading and unnecessarily difficult. Renting is stressful enough without this kind of inconsistency.

Unfortunately had a really bad experience with this company and would not recommend them. They were totally unprofessional and rude. Did'nt return calls to myself and our estate agents and solicitor over a property that we had been accepted for, but later backed out due to alot of issues that had been going on for 5 months. We have since found another property and have been dealing with another estate agent that have been a breath of fresh air, so friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble at all.

Have’nt got a clue, rude staff especially in there Prenton branch, STAY CLEAR cannot even get to speak to a director to put a complaint in, your emails are directed to a clueless snoby lady, who doesnt have a clue!!!!’

This agency, specifically Zoe, has been nothing short of appalling. It’s shocking to see somebody who is in a managerial role act so unprofessional and inappropriately and a continuous basis. Zoe is constantly rude, unhelpful and difficult to deal with. Avoid this agency if you expect fair treatment, basic courtesy, or even the minimum level of customer service. What a truly disgraceful experience.
