Waste of time... No time management and not replying on time. After adding property on website informing it's been let

It is our job to let property, so I expect the landlord would be happy if you are not. Rude and completely incoherent evaluation, contrary to the market, when challenged rude and not able to back up evaluation. They are all about placing the home at the bottom end of the market so they can get easy sale and earn 1%. Avoid at all costs.

Dear Mr Ali, The gentleman that provided your property appraisal is an experienced Estate Agent of over 30 years who has sold 100's of properties in the region over his career. He has never received feedback of this nature. Our market appraisals use the most up to date information provided by the Office for National Statistics, the Bank of England, Land Registry and property portals. Your comment of placing property at the 'bottom end of the market' is completely unfounded and untrue. If you wish to discuss anything further, I would ask you write to our Huddersfield branch directly. I wish you the bets for your future Sir.

Incredibly unprofessional in all areas. I asked myself 'how are they still in business with this conduct' but realised it's because they scam young students who are unable to take legal action. Avoid at all costs.

Most unprofessional office I've ever used.

I imagine you are upset due to the deposit for the property being requested in full through the Deposit Protection Service to cover the deep cleaning costs required as a result of your tenancy. I disagree that this is unprofessional and quite the opposite in fact. I contacted this company for my nephew relocating to study in Huddersfield. Despite explaining he would not pass credit check he was still given a form to sign that implicated him. I was asked for 3 months payslip and proof of home ownership I gave this then another request came since I was listed as a director, I supplied and because this didn’t have the information of salary in the last financial year when I didn’t get paid, Emma concluded she was given wrong information by my nephew. The form he filled in requested salary has to be £9750, UK citizens & home owner. Payslip submitted was £22k and home owner documents. Emma was disgustingly rude and abrupt when I called on the 10/02 to explain the occupant is new and I’m in charge of payment. I previously explained this to William but it seems either it wasn’t communicated or Emma did not listen. The company has kept my £75 despite giving all information they require. You are providing a needed service if you can’t do your job then please quit

Would have given 0 stars if that was possible. Emma is the rudest most condescending and most judgemental person I have ever come across when dealing with a company and she could do with some training in customer service and how to speak to people. Came off the phone in tears after speaking with her and I will never darken the doors of Martin & Co again. Such a shame as the gentleman who showed us around the property we went to view was lovely and couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

We were very unhappy with our experiences of this outfit. We believe they totally mismanaged our property, loads of examples for instance writing to us to suggest we extend our tenants contract even though they were not paying their rent. We believe we were lied to on other occasions. Avoid this outfit.They even asked me to call them to check I had the right business!! Sort of proves my point really! I have their correspondence to us to prove it. Just give them a wide berth.NegativeProfessionalism
