Whilst we always appreciate people taking the time to leave a review or helpful suggestions, we certainly do not appreciate comments such as yours. This individual was advised to use The Property Ombudsman Service, who agreed that Martin & Co did absolutely everything correctly, thus suggesting that the only ‘liar’ in this scenario is the person to leave this review. If the reader of this exchange were to know the entire series of events around your tenancy, I am sure they would not agree with your comments or rating. Serious thought should be given to the libellous nature of your slurs and whether they ought to remain in the public domain Sir. Thank you

Good morning GUY B - is that your name really? This user left a worded review last night, but has since removed it. Martin & Co Huddersfield have never had a client inline with this name and safely assume this is a bogus review from someone with too much time their hands. If by some 1 in a million shot you are a genuine client with concerns, I would be very interested in speaking with you about your experience. Wishing you a good day GUY B

Moved into one of their buildings and within the first two weeks the hot water went off for 3 days and at the same time the WiFi wasn’t up “due to the landlord being busy” Updating my situation, it has now been a week with “on and off” hot water where i have personally only seen the hot water being on once for about an half an hour in the morning before it went again however the internet has been fixed. Still would not recommend this letting agency and would in fact tell people to avoid doing business with them at all. The WiFi working is also extremely poor if you’re using it for anything other than simply looking things up on googleNegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

They Pretend to be nice before you sign the contract and pay the money, but as soon as they got your money they don’t care about you anymore, took months to repair and took your deposit for no reason. The only way to get your deposit is to dispute with the Dps or TPS I can’t remember and you probably will have to take legal action But to be fair I like one of their staffs called William or will, always friendly and helpful but he couldn’t help much as he is responsible for something else I believe but others are really not helpful at all Better Avoid them if you can and there are a lot of properties that you can choose

The dispute service within the DPS is there to protect tenants rights, no legal would be required to claim a deposit. The only reason the DPS would not award a deposit refund is if they saw clear evidence that it should be retained by the agency / landlord. They never bothered replying. Useless

Still waiting for a call back after 2 months. Served a section 21 and gave me 2 month notice even though it’s 3 if given after March. Lack of communication. Disgusting never missed a payment or done anything bad yet I’m being thrown out with no explanation. Train your staff! Only decent person there is will..
