Consistently poor service throughout. Edit: The comment left on this review by Daisylets is not related to my decision to leave a one star review. There were several inexcusable failings on the part of Daisylets at the end of my tenancy.

I am sorry you are unhappy Thomas. We were hired by your landlord to find a tenant, ie you. We did not manage the property, the landlord did. At no point were we hired to provide you a service.

I have booked and confirmed a viewing with Rebecca, and no one has shown up. We rushed from work to see a property, we got very wet on a very cold and rainy weather. No one showed up, I tried to contact her with no luck or answer.

I do apologies on behalf of Daisylets - I presume this must have been the 1 bed property on Wood Vale - we have had computer diary glitches so this one may well have slipped the net - I will be at the property on Friday if you are still keen to see this flat. just call the office.

Not serious about getting houses off the market. I had received an email after enquiring about a viewing. I received a second email cancelling the first date I was meant to attend. Viewing was rescheduled 12 days later with time. On the day I had even called to confirm if the agent was still attending or even remembered. Apparently they couldn’t find my name or email when I gave details, screenshots, names, times & dates. Agent still agreed to proceed to meet for viewing but never turned up, I didn’t get a phone call and the office phone was ringing out when I rang. Complete waste of time and travel. Costs.

We confirmed a viewing for you at 12:00 our agent was at the property by 11:45 am. There are no emails, missed calls or correspondence from you stating you are waiting outside. We also had our agent waiting outside for viewers still with no sign of you attending your appointment. Despite you having our email address and Buisness numbers. Wish you all the best with your search.

We let our property through Daisylets. They are the worst agents we have encountered. The tenants kept all kinds of animals in the house and garden (snakes, meerkats, mice and dogs). Daisylets were supposed to visit the property regularly to ensure the house was taken good care of by the tenants. Unfortunately, they only visited once in 6 years. These dodgy tenants have now left and the property was left in a very bad condition. They left their belongings that they did not want in the property: dirty clothes in a wardrobe, dirty buckets on top of the shed, The attic is completely filled with cages of different sizes. Furthermore, the doors of the rooms upstairs were painted black. Some doors downstairs were missing. The carpets were full of animal urine. Just to name a few... It has been absolute hell to get some money (at least the amount of tenants' deposit) to get the house cleaned and throw their rubbish in a skip. In the end we did not even get the whole amount of the deposit. We would never recommend this estate agent to anyone. They may seem friendly and helpful at the beginning but not later on...

Avoid this agency as tenant/landlord for lettings. Had them as a tenant for 10 years. They will do as little as possible going to the extend to ignore emails and calls. - When leaving the property, II had to send 15 emails over 2 months to retrieve the money that they owed me (and this wasn't even the deposit). They replied maybe to 1 email out of 3 at best. - They sent electricians with no notification and gave them the keys which they used in an early morning, in a middle of covid restrictions on top of that. When nicely asking them about that by email in order to understand, of course Daisylets just ignored the conversation - They now have a third party call center which mean you can get them over the phone unless they feel like calling you back - The list is long.. I am not sure how cost effective they are but as landlord, avoid them anyways! As tenant, if you are stuck with them, my advice is to develop a relationship with the landlord in case your issue become too critical. (note that I posted my previous comment with the wrong account and had to remove and repost it.. please do not hesitate to post back your answer which I will be pleased to answer..)NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Hello Nicolas, I responded to your first post. We are surprised at your review. You rented a flat alongside another tenant. We assisted you to be able to stay when the other tenant proved difficult and was asked to leave. Under normal circumstances, you would have had to leave at the same time. When you did move out we assisted you in getting part of the deposit from your former flatmate, and returned your deposit alongside the DPS guidelines. It is your responsibility to pay the correct rent. Your overpaid rent was returned to you. Please remember that all agencies work for the landlord and must take instruction from our landlords. All visits from contractors were cleared with you in advance either by phone or email. If you feel you have a legitimate complaint, you can do so via our complaint procedures which is backed by The Property Ombudsman.

Absolutely terrible. They bullied my tenant (she was in tears after one phone call from their agent), email after email goes unanswered and you are really left wondering what on earth they do to deserve payment. They didn't even tell me that the tenant's contract had expired. They paid a contractor to undertake works on the property and then did pretty much nothing to hold the contractor accountable for the works. I'm now in dispute to get my money back since the contractor has not carried out the works that Daisy Lets paid them and am getting next to no support from this unprofessional bunch.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Hello Stephen, I am sorry you are unhappy with our service. We never bullied your tenants. Our contractors did let us down, and we have recouped nearly all of the money for you. The final payment should be with you next week. The works in question are outside the remit of normal property management and any work we did was done in good faith and commission free.

Avoid at all costs. Single worst agents I have experienced in London and I thought I had seen bad professionals previously. We should have known from day 1 when we moved into a property where previous tenants were told they had to move out the following week - Daisy Lets had messed up the dates in communication. They charged us hundreds of pounds of illegal fees for changes in the contracts (legally capped at £50 for tenants). I would raise a complaint with the property ombudsman now we've moved out but actually can't find them listed there..?! The dodginess is endless. Wasted so many hours trying to communicate with them and ended up moving out of a house that was perfectly fine simply because none of us wanted to continue dealing with the estate agents.

Absolute disgrace of an agency. Avoid at all costs to rent with them! We multiple issues in our flat that were never/badly taken care of, despite us making many complaints: mould that caused a allergic asthma, broken windows, blocked front door, broken door handles on several doors in the flat, broken water pump, water leaks to the floor downstairs... just to name a few. Our pleas to lower the rent during the first lockdown were simply ignored... oh and did I say that our deposit wasn‘t returned until 2 months after we had moved out, after they tried to blame some of issues in the flat on us? Do yourself the favour and avoid these highly unprofessional people. Btw @ Daisy’s, saying „I‘m sorry you feel this way“ is not how you take accountability or apologise to someone...

Hello Sarah. We have a complaints procedure, backed by the Property Ombudsman. I note that you did not make an official complaint via these procedures and instead have decided to vent your feelings online. As the lettings agent, we can only act on instruction from the landlord. Repairs have to be authorised by them. We did not delay in carrying out repairs once we had instruction, and we always reported your issues within a day. We kept your partner updated at all times with progress on all works and reasons for any delays. Your deposit was held with the DPS. Again we had to work with the owner to clarify any deductions they wanted to claim. We try to resolve any disputes. If we can't resolve a dispute, then the DPS would resolve it, and that can take over 3 months.

I definitely would not recommend Daisy Lets to anyone. Nella was very good at communicating before I moved into my flat with my partner. However, ever since we moved in, the communication with Collette has been shocking. We moved in on the 14th August and there were multiple issues. We even had to get a second key cut ourselves. We keep emailing to chase about getting problems sorted (broken bed, missing bike shed key, broken blinds etc). These issues have been outstanding ever since we moved in and we have no idea when they'll be resolved. I think we'll have to resort to visiting Daisy Lets in-person. We've also had a major issue with the parking - free allocated parking was advertised with the flat but due to previous tenants losing the permits and a new permit not being ordered for us, we ended up with a parking ticket.

Reply from agent

I am sorry for the problems you have experienced. Unfortunately the previous tenants lost the parking permit. A new one has been ordered, but these things can take time. As to repairs, we have to follow instructions from the landlord. All lettings agents must follow instruction from the landlord. In this case the landlord demands to use his own contractors and suppliers. The landlord was informed of all issues as soon as we were aware. We cannot override this. If the landlord had allowed us to use our team, then the bed and blinds could have been replaced within a day. I am sorry for the problems you have had, but we are restricted by legislation as to how much we can do.

Dubious stains on my freshly steamed sofa along with sushi rice and sesame seeds. Coffee cup stains and footprints on the furniture, finger prints on the freshly painted walls. Oh and after 4 months they still haven't managed to let the property 🤦 Couldn't close a fire door, don't bother. Had a great working relationship with the previous owners and the new sales manager couldn't help but slag them off at every opportunity.Failed to have the emotional intelligence to realise the only reason they obtained my custom was because of the exceptional service of their predecessors. Over promise and under deliver. Expectation management zero. So many alarm bells at every stage of the failed process; I only have myself to blame for not pulling the plug sooner. Do yourself a favour.

Hello Miguel, It took awhile to figure out who you were. You asked us to find a tenant just at the start of the first Covid lockdown. Viewings were not permitted. Then you didn't give us keys for several months, so again we couldn't do viewings. Finding tenants without keys, during a pandemic lockdown in london is difficult to say the least. As to the stains or rice, perhaps something to do with the outgoing tenants. Nothing to do with us.
