This company really frustrates me one If not the worst estate agent I have ever known. Even If they only do lettings. i have changed my comment due to the owners response not that i care about the owner but i would have thought a better response would be to be sympathetic to a tenants issues.

Terrible company, terrible attitude, terrible service and all round poor. Now a year down the line of leaving our previous rented house, 'Professional' Properties, had forgotten to inform the council that we had moved out and therefore they are trying to put liability on us to make the arrears in full with the council. Council have been contacted and have agreed that the liability is with Professional Properties, the company needs a serious overhaul in staff. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF RENTING WITH THESE.

Hi Declan - at least you have the bottle to leave your full name before posting an incorrect factual review!! Firstly, the responsibility to inform the local authority that you have moved out is YOURS, as detailed in the letter sent to you on 17th July 2018. Secondly, the contract for payment of council tax is either with you or the landlord and never the agent as the agent neither rents or owns the property and a council would never 'agree' that the liability is with the agent.

Terrible. Professional Properties are not Professional 1. They said that I have to apply with my husband (so we paid apply fee double) but it’s not true. They cheated to get more money! 2. They lied about bills. There are 100% more than they said. 3. They will run behind you, but when you will pay apply fees they will do nothing, making you crazy because they can’t say you will have this flat or no. They said I will wait 7 days max for decision and keys, I was waiting 3 weeks. Never again this agency 😧

You are full of lies. Your tenancy ended in the middle of April. You were refunded on 29th April - by my calculations, that's around 2 weeks. All this because you didn't cancel your standing order as requested. What is fraudulent (correct spelling) about that exactly? All our telephone calls are recorded so I won't bore anyone reading this with the details of the actual conversation in respect of this issue. Get your facts straight before you write a negative review.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING letting agents. I have had the misfortune of renting two different properties from 'professional' properties and both times the process has been awful. Last year I moved in to a property that was filthy, had no internet for the first month (part of our contract) and the boiler broke within a couple of weeks. This year I moved in to another of their properties (BIG mistake) and despite paying the property application fee in June and contacting them multiple times we only eventually received the contract last week (4 days before the start of our tenancy). We moved in to find that the house was filthy, the oven was not working, the bathroom had no light, the shower and taps in the bathroom didn't work, there was no internet again (part of our contract). When we tried to contact them we just kept getting the same useless answer saying that they would contact the landlord but nothing has been done about any of these issues. DO not use this letting agency - totally useless and UNprofessional.

Now I don’t live in one of their properties I can write this, I was in a student property. first of all we moved in and that was fine the moving process was fine, moved in, day one the beds all broke we reported this and nothing was done, we lived there for a year and they were never fixed, got told at the end of the tenancy that it was our fault they were broken, we were told we would get new carpets throughout which never happened, oven stopped working and never got fixed so we were left without for 6 months even though we reported it repeatedly, our gas kept going out and we were for some reason told it wasn’t topped up and was our fault, when we proved it was topped up we were told we were showering too much and that it was yet again our fault, once they finally agreed to send someone out they found a hole in the pipe and was nothing to do with us, we managed to fail every inspection being told the house was a state even though we never received a cleaner and the house was a state when we moved in, our December inspection was due on the 29th December, for some reason they came on Christmas Eve and told us the house was unacceptable, well of course it was it was Christmas Eve we were having a drink for Christmas!!!! I will NEVER rent with this company again, and I would go as far as to say that we were harassed, one of our house inspections we failed because there were 4 pots in the sink, well yes we just had breakfast and we LIVE THERE, for the inspections we were basically expected to move everything we own out and hire Kim and aggy to clean up, was not fair at all. Just want to point out I have since rented a property with another company and have had 0 problems, have failed 0 inspections and am not scared to own things in my own flat. I’m not trying to say we were perfect tenants but we did not deserve the amount of harassment we got. Ridiculous company.

Tenancy contract finally sent 36 hours before moving in, with a higher rent price on it. Wouldn't return my calls and emails regarding this. Only had one key for a two bed flat, missing back door/balcony key. Reported issues day after moving in including washing machine and oven not being installed correctly and still not sorted two weeks later. Wouldn't recommend.

Hi John. The property you moved into was on our tenant find service which means it is managed by the landlord. Also in this case, the tenancy agreement is prepared by the landlords management company. When you initially received the contract, the rent amount was indeed higher than agreed. The landlord advised that he hadn’t agreed an offer on the rent and would need to speak with his management company. We advised you that we had contacted the landlord who confirmed that his management company would need to prepare a new agreement at the lower rent. We eventually received this and you then came in and signed the agreement and we handed the keys provided by the landlord over to you in the office. You then called later in the day to say that there was no back door/balcony key. We left a message for the management company on the Saturday and advised you that we had asked them to provide the missing keys to you and left a message for you on the 2nd July to advise you. As we do not manage the property, any issues with the washing machine and the oven are the landlord/management company's responsibility. We would suggest that it is the landlords management company that deserves the 1 star review, not ourselves!
