Streets Ahead

Looks like it depends who you deal with when it comes to this branch. From my experience, the only time they tried to contact me was when they they had to get rid of a very poorly maintained property which I have no idea of how they agreed …

Agents have been kind but pressing and once offer was put, I had no reply for days, as they were probably waiting for a higher offer from other viewers. While I was put on hold I made other offer on a competitor's property, moved in already.

So disappointed..

We bought a house in Anerley, which Streets Ahead were marketing. We found out dealings with the estate agents to be fine, but they've spoilt our opinion of the company by refusing to collect their "SOLD" sign, from the front of our house. We've phoned several times and they keep fobbing us off, hoping we'll take the sign to the tip on their behalf.

A really poor and unatentive service! I arranged a property valuation with Danny the former branch manager in July 2025. Firstly I feel like my property was over valued which resulted in 2 viewings in 7-8 weeks. I can accept that but what I don’t find acceptable is at the valuation Danny told me that they always arrange an open house launch day followed by a potential 2 other open days if needed. This sounded great and made it sound like they had lots of potential buyers waiting. I spoke to Danny over the phone to follow up on a couple of bits and he again confirmed the plan of the open day. In the following week there was no communication and out of the blue I received a text message confirming the open house launch for that Saturday at 12.30pm. I cleaned and organised my property in anticipation of the open house only for on the day 2 colleagues of Danny’s to not only turn up late but not even know what house number they were looking for. Then they explained there was no open day planned at all, they were just coming to check out the property and they would never have done an open house for a property my size (2 bed flat). I expressed my dissatisfaction and was told that Danny would call me. I never did receive a call or an apology from Danny. Throughout the whole contract with streets ahead I never once felt like a valued customer or even that they were bothered to try and sell my property. The communication and follow ups on the few viewings we did have were non existent and left me chasing them for any news. There were multiple times where a viewing was booked in and no one showed up to then receive a call 15 minutes later to inform me.
