I am searching for a property to buy, went there 3 weeks ago. They said estate agent and financial adviser would call me but never happened. The person there was very friendly but it seems they don´t need new customers.
We've had the misfortune of living next to a house rented out by the Addiscombe branch. When we reported problems with the anti social tenants, we got vague and unhelpful replies. The company seemed unable and unwilling to help, and the …
Horrible Customer Service Pretty sure their deleting their bad reviews would not recommend this Estate Agent title says it all. Check their trust pilot reviews for the honest opinions.
useless been waiting months for my toilet to be fixed come home today to my boiler not working which I've never had a gas safety certificate for absolutely rubbish communication with anyone from streetsahead a complete joke
This is the first time we have use Streets Ahead to move. The property is great but prior and during the move, Streets Ahead South Norwood Branch have backtracked on several things, and have essentially called us liars. We approached them with concerns personally and privately, when asked to review their services on Facebook, and received the following: Maxime (Lettings Manager) denied all conversation about an issue, Aidan (Lettings Negotiator) implied that we were lying on that topic. Furthermore a non-working key that was assured to be replaced, has now been advised that the landlord will have to sort it. To boot, we received claims that Streets Ahead was constantly in touch throughout the process. This was not the case (e.g. we had to sort the problems that their reference company had), I had to chase them, rather than them calling us, and on one occasion we found ourselves left in London on the key pick up date without being told it has been postponed. Thankfully we had not turned up with a van full of belongings on that date, it being a work day. Overall, Streets Ahead is willing to take your money and move you very quickly, but exhibits poor communication and an unwillingness to address or correct their mistakes, being very quick to shift blame onto you. I don't appreciate being called a liar when the issue had been raised prior to even placing a deposit, in person and in writing.
Avoid them - if a property is listed with two agents use any other agent. Simple things like telling you which power meter is yours is beyond them. Simple customer services and urgency are ignored. They will tell you they will do something and then tell you they didn’t say that - even when in writing. #AVOID
Very little communication especially in times of need. Still waiting on the remainder of my deposit after over three months although I have been charged for a standard clean for the next tenant! Pitty it was not cleaned for when I moved in, the fridge freezer didn’t even have any doors! Anyway nobody seems to give a monkeys so will just have to keep waiting! Good luck if you get Cherelle as your property manager, hope u have a lot of hair to pull out!
Rented a property through them, completed referencing and the let was agreed. Suddenly the landlord apparently decided to take the property off the market, though they continued to advertise it as an available property. Now no answer on paying my holding deposit back and suddenly the property is available again. No reasonable person would want to use Streets ahead and I will be reporting them.
Very bad experience with the estate agents. They are more than rude !! After so many years I’ve paid them so much money and they still treated me as they want to steal all my deposit!! I renovated the whole flat and they were still looking to charge me for the cheap laminate floor panels discoloured from the sun asking for 3k !!!
If I could give them a 0 out of 5 I would, this is the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with. We had so many issues as tenants that I wouldn't even be able to list them all down here. The worst being the rats that they would never deal with in the property and the £430 they tried to take out of our deposit without even consulting a professional to gain a quote for the 'damage' caused to the property. Even worse is the floods of emails we are still receiving stating that we owe them thousands of pounds because they neglected to inform the landlord that we no longer live in the property (it has been 5 months since we left). However good the property is, I urge you to not rent from streets ahead!!!!
