Horrific company Never trust this company, we got them to sell a house for us , by far worst experience of our lives . Use a proper estate agents . Truely shocking experience Bewarned & beware if you use this company. Shocking

Rob, thank you for your third review. After an unsuccessful attempt with a different agent we sold your home for asking price. We have gone out of our way to help you at every step of your sale and subsequent rental. At all stages we have clearly communicated and you had expressed your extreme satisfaction with our service. Subsequently you have broken your tenancy and we have correctly managed this in order to protect our landlord client. We have shown that as agents we are prepared to do the right thing for our clients, even if it results in not conceding to threats of bad reviews. Ethically we have done the right thing and I embrace a negative review that highlights how we place our clients above our own needs.

This company are disgusting to deal with , they rented to a family member his mother even has cancer & they still gave his problems, in the damp mouldy house with no boiler working !! if you ever have the misfortune of being in one of there rentals properties off this company with no moral compass check everything , NEVER PAY them up front , & always go to landlord or owner not northwood, IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WHICH YOU WILL HAVE GUARANTEED Disgraceful people with no moral compass say they defend the landlord That is shocking ( should be tenants & landlords They rent out damp properties & have no care for the people living there just in get the money regardless of health care I'd never use or recommend this shocking company "THE RENTAL WAS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE SEE PICS and videos if you'd like me to upload Now for Reply:to northwood REPLY AS YOUR WELL AWARE THE MONEY never been a issue....your company welcome to keep the money, no problems, as you obviously need the money & one would hope nobody suffers in the damp properties & causing health problems As we've explained to the property owner, And other friends.... what sort of company you are with no moral compass And I'm so glad we never gave you our 10 properties to sell & will inform everyone we meet in the property industry in the future ⚠️ about your cost and manner you conduct yourselves & moral compass And you're welcome in advance glad you found this as a positive feedback suggests the extent of moral compass🗑🗑🗑

Rob, thank you for the feedback and we note that you have filed two reviews for the same issue. Having explained this to you several times, no money can be returned for a tenancy until the property as been handed back. Furthermore, if a tenancy is terminated prior to expiry of the agreement it is only fair that the tenant covers rent up to the point of a new tenant taking occupation, and cover the landlords fees for an early relet. Negative feedback of this nature is useful to receive as it demonstrates that we have fulfilled the obligations we have to our landlord client. Your comments prove that we have supported our landlord and delivered on our commitment to them. We took all possible steps to advise you of the costs prior, during and at the end of the tenancy. Our job is to maintain and manage our landlords assets and unfortunately that does mean occasionally this results in dissatisfied tenants. Upset tenants are those that try to operate outside the scope of their tenancy agreements or don’t work within the framework needed to properly maintain their tenancy. Deposits are independently held and deductions can only be made for legitimate reasons and if the tenancy isn’t ran to order full deposits, quite rightly, will not be returned. We are aware of your personal circumstances and as we do understand the stress this must be putting you under. We have done our very best to alleviate this stress and deliver exactly what we said we would do. Unfortunately, as explained there are costs associated with breaking agreements.

First time viewing a property through Northwood Sandbach and will unfortunately never be viewing properties represented by this estate agents again. I waited 30 minutes and nobody showed up, called the Sandbach office twice in that time and kept being informed they were 2 minutes away which turned out to be a lie because after 40 minutes there was still a no-show, and even after I left the property I never received any contact from them to say they were there or to apologise. Completely wasted my morning/time driving up to Sandbach for nobody to show up. Poor service and unreliable so I will not be trusting this estate agents in future. The worst thing about it is that I was genuinely interested in buying the property I was viewing.

Saturdays are very busy days and we are the only agent that provides 45 minute slots for viewings so that viewers are not rushed and we can try and keep on top of traffic. Unfortunately at times traffic and other factors can disrupt the schedule and these are unfortunately outside our control. We are lucky to be a well resourced business so we have offered to show you around later the same day or to come down to the property immediately. Utterly hopeless...damp property for over a year. Then held deposit for over 2 months after leaving property saying it smelled of cat pee....despite our complaints of sewage pipe leak. Constant issues and staff less than useless. Never call back. No help whatsoever. Clothes, shoes and property damaged by black mould told to claim on insurance, and withheld part of deposit for some cobwebs and a dirty skirting board. Do not use these people if you wish to rent somewhere decent to live. Only interested in.money and landlords.

The worst estate agents I've dealt with by far - will access the property without you being there or letting you know which is for 1 illegal and 2 rude - the whole office shares a handful of brain cells and you would think they were on a much higher wage for the attitude problems they all have - thanking god I never have too deal with them again x

This is one of the worst letting agents I have ever had dealings with. If you’re a landlord they are probably great. As a tenant they will access your property even if you have told them that you wish to be present. The service is appalling. If an issue is raised with the property you will be blamed for it and nothing will be done about it. Avoid if you can. I don’t even want to give one star

Renter beware, they took over 2 months to eventually release our deposit, didn't reply to countless emails, only when a manager was CC'd in did we magically get a response in 5 minutes, at which point they tried to keep a portion of our deposit for things not even discussed. Very shady business practice.

Extremely unprofessional and rude! They never fix anything that needs fixing, even when asked numerous times. Wouldn’t recommend them at all.

This is the most unprofessional letting agents I have ever dealt with. Calls to the office go unanswered, promised callbacks are never materialise, staff appear to be permanently 'out of the office' and none of the staff know what is going on in relation to various properties as only one member of staff appears to have access to property information. What a way to run an office. Office Manager needs to manage the office. Would not recommend.

Left details on two properties asking to view. Both properties they were supposedly waiting for the keys back. But surprisingly they both sold before I even got chance to view. They didn't ring to let me know they were ready to view. Just sold straight away. I'd imagine the estate agent has sold to a friend or I don't believe they have contacted those that had shown interest myself included. Certainly won't be wasting my time contacting these about a property they are advertising. Very poor service.
