My thanks to James Davies, who acted quickly and considerately in an emergency situation last week. He helped to organise assistance for someone who had to be taken to hospital during the recent storms. Common sense and kindness prevailed.

It's reassuring to know that we have people like Gianni who are diligent in their efforts to keep our development at Rodney Parade in as good condition as possible. However, it's unfortunate that some residents do not seem to fully appreciate how difficult this task can be.

I would just like record that Gianni has has made a big difference at City Vizion. He has taken a real interest in the development and the benefits can be seen by all. He has used his calming manner to deal with problems and tried to make himself known, and available, to leaseholders and tenants alike. He has good communication skills and provides excellent reporting to the directors. He has put in place action plans and regularly updates progress. Seraph have managed a flat I owned in a block of flats for several years now. They are always responsive and fees are reasonable. Recently I sold this flat to my son. Although not currently a customer of Seraph, I asked Gianni, a block manager for Seraph, for some advice on a leasehold matter including some understanding of parts of the lease. His help was invaluable despite the fact I am not a customer. If I did require assistance in the future on renting my properties or management of blocks, I would definitely consider Seraph based on the experience I had with Gianni.
