I purchased a property through Starlings and Watson Brundall, and as much as I know they are for the person selling the property, they did work incredibly hard, to keep me updated throughout. Would I recommend them? Yes! Would I use them when I come to sell the property? Yes again. They also send me a card and new home gift, which was a nice touch. Many thanks again.

I am pleased to have purchased a property with Starkings and Watson, Brundall Estate Agents. All staff were excellent and very helpful throughout however initially, I found it very difficult to arrange viewings at a no chain property with limited flexibility.
Recently sold my house with Starkings and Watson, the customer service they provide is on point and their communication was much stronger compared to another estate agent I used. Karen was excellent at communicating updates, handling queries, and Sam went to a lot of effort to call back even past the end of a working day if they missed a call from me. That shows a lot of care and effort. Janet in the after sales was really attentive and was excellent at communicating the sales progression every week. She was a joy to speak to and we had a good chuckle! These staff deserve a 5 star rating. Their performance is why my partner is now selling their property with Starkings. My only critique, hence the 4 star rating, was due to their association with a Solicitor they recommended. My 1st chain fell through due to my buyer using this Solicitor, and a check that could have been done early on by them was left until exchange and my buyer failed this meaning the whole chain fell through. Meaning abortive fees for me to pay. You can imagine my anxiety when my next buyer used them too, but thankfully this time it completed, although they weren't great for them either. That Solictor's communication during the sales progress wasn't great and Janet really had to push to get answers which I really appreciated from her. I'd recommend that they review their partnership with this particular Solicitor.
Excellent experience overall with this firm. Some initial issues with central admin lady who made a number of errors then became defensive and argumentative rather than fix the problem but thankfully after that everyone else we dealt with were superb. Very professional and customer focused. Special mention should go to Sarah who shared my sense of urgency chasing people as necessary speaking with a number of relevant parties first thing on a Monday morning which was relevant as we exchanged the day before completion. Also for going the extra mile and keeping me updated by sending emails when not actually at work but out walking the dog. The company is proactive and drives the process along rather than just waiting for things to happen around them. Would have no hesitation in using them again and would recommend to anyone looking for an estate agent.
I've just reached exchange today on the sale of my house. It was a long process (I think I went on the market around November time and it's now July!) but I had an incredible sales team of Karen and Sam and Sarah in sales progression making sure things were ticking along. Despite overcoming MANY hurdles in the way of the sale falling through and the joys of a chain - it's all worked out well in the end! Thank you so much Starkings & Watson!
Starlings & Watson were really pleasant and easy to deal with, regardless of who you got on the phone, they were all very keen to help. They were incredibly engaging in the early days when the sale was being negotiated, making regular contact with us then. We have already recommended them to a friend who is looking to sell their property

I would like to warn people signing an e marketing sales agreement who are visually impaired that you must have somebody go through the contact explaining the agency period and the cancellation period. Not to sign on an email but get a copy so you can fill in and sign in front of an agent. When we realized that we hadn't done this it was too late. Even the following day we would have had to have paid £500 even within the 14 days cooling off period. It appears other agents don't do this.
Awful. Authorised work to my property that I never instructed. Wrong address on tenancy agreement so had me down as living with the tenants. Happy to take your money and then wash their hands of you. You’ll be promised the world and then they’ll not care. It’s been a truly distressing experience experience and all you get is apologies for constant mistakes. I’ve given alot of money to this company to be accused of being disrespectful when staff have accused me (their client) as lying. If you are planning on having your property managed then save yourself the headache, trauma & money by going elsewhere.
