I would like to warn people signing an e marketing sales agreement who are visually impaired that you must have somebody go through the contact explaining the agency period and the cancellation period. Not to sign on an email but get a copy so you can fill in and sign in front of an agent. When we realized that we hadn't done this it was too late. Even the following day we would have had to have paid £500 even within the 14 days cooling off period. It appears other agents don't do this.

Reply from Starkings & Watson - Brundall: Claire - I am sorry to read your review. As you know we have had this conversation several times, and still feel that an e-sign agreement gives you time to read and digest the contents, and of course zoom in if required. All contract allow a cooling off period if signed remotely or at your home, and if works commence, a fair fee can be charged. As you know, we agreed a sale on your home, but the chain collapsed which is how we are back at this point. Hopefully we can sell your home again, and to confirm there is no charge of £500 outside of your cooling off period. Sam will be in touch again to reconfirm these points. Chris.
