JLL Greenwich is unequivocally the best letting agents I have used. After 7 years in London and many more moves in that time, I haven't come across an agency that deals with not only the lettings but the process leading every step until the move in day. Hayley Peverley and a Bruna Faria were exceptionally impressive. I loved Hayley's candour, helpfulness and honesty when viewing the property, and also her willingness to help even while on holiday. I believe, that any foreigner trying to settle on a permanently basis in a new country can have difficulties finding a new home or apartment, because of lots of unknown every day and every where. I've spent two weeks visiting different let agencies trying to find affordable and nice place for the long term rent with no luck... Then, I don't know why, but I went to Blackheath, with no reason, just to have a walk around and observe the area. This is where I found JLL office. With no hope I've decided to go in and this is where I've met Hayley! Polite, smiling and professional girl listened to me carefully and was shortly ready with a few nice deals for me! We had a property view the same day and a few days later it was agreed! We asked JLL to look for a tenant for our new apartment in the new Portrait development in Lewisham. As we prefer to manage the property ourselves, all we required was an introduction and carry out referencing etc. Although JLL can offer various packages up to a fully managed service, they were very flexible and were more than happy to work on an introduction only basis. Hayley arranged viewings and started marketing the flat as soon as she had a set of keys, and kept us informed of progress any how viewings went. After a couple of days we had an offer from a prospective tenant. JLL carried out the background checks and within a week we had the positive references back. Once we agreed to go ahead, JLL helped fine tune contract wording (as we used our own AST), and arranged to have the documents signed and witnessed ready for the move-in date. We met the tenant ourselves and carried out an inventory and check-in, and were delighted with the tenant JLL found for us. From start to finish, we were really pleased with JLL’s professionalism and local knowledge.
