For 9 days, Simon, who was responsible for my case, told me that he could not reach the landlord. In the end, he said that the landlord refused me simply because I had just graduated from university. During this period, I had to stay in an Airbnb for 9 days, yet I did not receive any apology from either him or the company. Still waiting for a replacement sofa after 6+ months! The living room sofa was broken when I moved in, which I reported later to the property manager. After over half a year of chasing, I'm still stuck with the same damaged furniture! Every follow-up gets the same generic responses: waiting for landlord confirmation - yet nothing ever materialises. This is completely unacceptable for a professional letting agency.
If you want to deal with an **unprofessional agency that ignores your requests and emails and unfairly imposes landlord costs on tenants, then this is the perfect agency for you. Their lack of professionalism is truly remarkable. If I could give less than one star, I would.
Awful experience, misadvertised property that wasn’t fit to be rented out. Studio apartment rented out as 1 bedroom. Property was never cleaned cob webs and a mattress that had urine marks all over it. 7 weeks later still chasing agent for support and not helping.
It is a company that you can not trust, as they habitually do not address your questions. Without my prior consent or agreement, they suddenly charged me a bill more than £600 for some simple repairing works that were not urgent or emergent.
The good - Elisha was prompt in sorting out my tenancy agreement when I asked and would always answer my questions quickly. The bad: 1. Missing building fob which they had months to sort out but waited until I picked up the keys to inform me, still not received this. There is an app as an alternative but this is flaky at best. 2. Broken front door lock meaning I either have to prop the door open or be locked out and have to ask the concierge to let me in. They knew about this issue when they came to do the inventory before I moved in but didn’t bother to get it sorted out or inform me of the problem. 3. Assigned a property manager who is out of office for the entire Christmas period and given no other point of contact except for the contracted out emergency maintenance number which is useless outside of genuine emergencies. 4. Calling up the office is pointless because nobody answers the phone and if you do get through to someone you just get told the people you need are out of office and that if you email your property manager you might get lucky if they check their email… 5. Similar to the above, not told about how to report maintenance issues on their portal. Currently have a broken fridge, washing machine, and dishwasher with no knowledge of how to report these issues. 6. Cleaning clause in the contract yet the flat had clearly not been cleaned - Microwave covered in food, counter tops and shelves dusty, stains on furniture and tables etc
Have not provided any help to solve tenant issues thus far. Will keep it 1* until there’s any resolution. I’ve been waiting for over month and have not been helped, not to mention the super slow response times.
