John and his team gave help well beyond what we could expect given that we were selling our home while living abroad and then unexpectedly prevented from visiting the UK by the pandemic. Always kept us in the picture and gave very wise advice as to offers received etc. and last minute problems. I've never been a fan of estate agents but Bluebell Estates really did deserve their fees

I would recommend Bluebell Estates to everyone, I used them for letting out my flat, and also for selling my property. Everyone in the office were always really helpful on the renting side as well as the selling aspect as well. We asked Bluebell Estate to value a relatives property, they came on the day requested and on time. Wendy was very efficient and and new the area well, she gave a value inline with what we had in mind. We then commissioned them to sell the property, the listing went live on the Friday and we had viewings on the Saturday and Monday, the property sold on the second viewing. With the help of Bluebell Estates I found my dream property. The sale went through within a few months. Offer was put in in at the end of January and completed and moved in at the beginning of April. Bluebell Estates were very efficient, always accommodating (even when I'd call up for a last minute viewing of the property) and the staff were always on hand to help whether it be over the phone or via email - emails of which were always responded to promptly. Bluebell Estates were a dream to work with from beginning to end, even through buying/selling during lockdown! We were able to view our new home virtually with John, who was super helpful with answering all question we threw his way. Wendy was very friendly, professional and experienced. She came across as genuine and answered questions honestly, even telling me of the percentage rate Bluebell Estate charged without having to be asked. My gut feel was to go with them, but having made appointments with two other estate agents, I thought I’d better keep them. By contrast, one of their competitors, arrived with a briefcase full of glossy marketing brochures, and proceeded to “blind me with science” boasting about how they were better than anyone else, etc. However, when I asked the question about rates, it was avoided, and then some waffle about how it was on a scale, and could be negotiated. I had to insist on an answer. Then he walked round all the rooms trying to impress me with his laser measuring toy, and all the while I’m thinking, hang on a minute, I haven’t agreed for you to sell my house yet! That made my mind up, I cancelled the appointment with the other agent, and phoned Wendy immediately. My instincts were proved right. Our house sold within a week of coming out of lockdown, and we were kept informed at every stage. We first used Bluebell Estates many years ago, when we rented a local property from John, whom we liked, again for his professionalism and attitude. John has a great team working for him, and we would highly recommend them. It’s also nice to support a small local business, who are doing things right, and therefore surviving amongst the bigger competitors.
