Dear Beautiful Everyday, I am sorry to read your review, and wholeheartedly wish you had contacted us if you had questions about the house sale before putting your opinions online. Given that you haven’t used your name, or the property address, it was difficult for us to research, but we believe we have the correct details now. The house in question was very popular, receiving 7 offers from interested parties, 6 of which, including yours, were well in excess of the asking price. Such was the market at that time, this was not unusual. You can rest assured that your offer, along with all the others, was put to the seller. It was the seller who made the decision whose offer to accept and we obviously went with their instructions, as their agent. It is, at the end of the day, their choice. The completed sale price was lower than the agreed sale price, for the simple reason that the buyers survey highlighted a significant issue with the property, that resulted in a re-negotiation from the original sale price agreed. This happens quite often after a buyers survey, and had you contacted us directly we would have gladly told you this. Bearing all of the above in mind, we ask you to please remove this review, as we take a pride in our reputation and the Frost name, which has been involved in selling property in The Chilterns for over 100 years.
