Nothing good to say about these people - they behave like they're running some exclusive Beverley Hills film company, not a letting agency serving commuter-land. Rented a flat from Frost in Feb 2012, my contact was their Sally Hyland at Amersham branch. Throughout, she was not friendly, very formal, bordering on the point of rude. They certainly make you feel like the Dickensian tenant, who had little legal rights with the way they deal with things. Fortunately, tenant law has changed and I know my rights, but a lot of people who don't would surely feel intimidated dealing with these people - no sooner had I signed my lease than Frost handed over a s21 notice seeking possession in 1 years time.I didn't like Frost or Sally Hyland at all. She was often terse, bordering on rude, over the phone, she was overly formal, didn't answer routine emails, made several obvious mistakes on forms that slowed things down, and surprisingly, was exceptionally rude about the old tenant living in my flat. I would never expect to hear this about someone I don't know.If you rent through Frost, know that they hold themselves to a very high standard. You won't be left feeling like the flat/house you're renting is 'yours'. You'll also have a lot of trouble getting Frost to get repairs done. These people are expensive, unpleasant and unnecessary. They treated me in an appalling fashion until I asked my solicitor to write to them setting out my legal rights as a tenant. Since that time, they've gone back to where they belong... crawled back under their stone. If you can avoid it, use another agency in Amersham. These people are pure scum.
Viewed a house to rent a couple weeks ago the agent Jessica was lovely however after jumping through numerous hoops and being strung along four days before move in date they rejected the application even after passing the referencing section on my own and also then further adding a guarantor at the letting agents request. In addition they lost documents three times and I had to repeatedly send the same document at least four times to ensure my application had everything they needed. I think the fact they rejected my application four days before move in date is utterly ridiculous and unacceptable when I had been approved and everything had already been signed it is disgusting.
Very poor service complained 5 times via telephone about a property and shown pictures , never received a phone call back !!!!!
Would not recommend this estate agent. Communication is inconsistent, and as new renters we were not given all the information we should have been upon moving in
Rented a while back Seraph and had a poor experience. There was miscommunication over parking from the start, followed by bathroom and leak issues from January through to June that required repeated chasing and repair attempts. The situation was very stressful to live with, and the only compensation offered was £30 for poor communication. I would not rent through them again.
Very disappointing experience with this estate agent. We enquired about a property in M9 that we were interested in purchasing, but our emails were ignored and we received no reply or call back. When I eventually called them, the person who answered came across as extremely arrogant and unhelpful. We asked a reasonable question regarding the lease, as we have previously purchased similar leasehold properties within the same estate and are familiar with some of the mortgage lending issues that can arise. In particular, many leasehold properties in that estate have a ground rent review every 10 years, which can be problematic for many mortgage lenders unless a deed of variation is agreed. We simply wanted to know whether the seller may be open to resolving this issue by doing a deed of variation before we spent time and money progressing with viewings, surveys, legal work, and mortgage applications. Instead of listening properly or offering to check with the seller, the agent immediately dismissed the question and repeatedly told us to speak to our solicitor. The tone throughout the conversation was rude and unprofessional. As experienced property investors who have dealt with hundreds of agents over the years, this was one of the worst interactions we have had with an estate agent. Potential buyers should be treated with professionalism and basic courtesy. Very poor communication and a disappointing experience overall.
TENANTS BEWARE!!!! If i could give this less then 1 star i would. As a tenant, we have been ignored, shunned and even i would say bullied from the manner and tone they email us with. We are just an issue to them! We moved in to a property they said has gas heating , but it didnt!!! But gas still runs to property to we still pay a service charge of £10 a month but estate agent and landlord will not respond!! Either landlord is away and they cant talk to them, or now a staff member is on annual leave abd so cant discuss!! This has gone on since august and instead of resolving they evicted and are selling house. Still will not give us any answers to the hundreds of £££££ it has cost us for gas we dont have !!!! I have attached emails from them for you to read the tone. They are rude and do not care about their tenant!
