First one viewed the house and First one whose offer got accepted but 2 days later on our investigation they told us someone else got the house. They are not professional, their words means nothing even via email. Yes ingleby homes a dominant estate agent in ingleby which is the reason they do not value their customers. Their communication skills are poor and they do not realise how their actions affect people who wishes to have a dream house because they have no work ethics. Highly disappointed 😞.

Went to see a house, applied for it immediately, we could move in whenever. We rang pretty much everday to get an update and were promised by the end of the day we would know whether we had it not. We literally haven't heard a word from anyone, weren't told we hadn't got it so we were in limbo for a long while. Just had to presume we never got it. We were desperate to get out of where we were so that was 3 weeks completely wasted on this house with this company when had they told us we could of started looking elsewhere. Really rude and I'm not sure they realise how much this can affect someone's life when they need to move!

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star as it won't allow me to give zero. Avoid this company at all costs. It is beyond me how this company is still in business as it is a shambles. Full deposit has been taken off me for issues that were already in the property before I moved in and because it wasn't recorded in their inspection paperwork, I have been charged for it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO elsewhere!

Bad service, Purple bricks cheaper and better service.

Subsequent to submission of an offer on a property in Ingleby Barwick, I was informed by telephone that my offer had been accepted and I was requested to provide evidence of sufficient funds. I agreed to visit their office the following morning in order to present the necessary documentation. Being convinced that my purchase was now secured, I proceeded to transfer funds into an account from which they could be further transferred by telephone instruction for purchase of the property following return to my country of residence. However, to my surprise, I was contacted again by Ingleby homes, on that afternoon, informaing me that there had been another similar offer which they would have to forward to the vendor. It appeared that they were trying to force a higher offer, even though my offer had already been accepted. They said they would update me on subsequent developments. Later that afternoon I was contacted again by Ingleby homes, informing me that my offer had now been declined. I feel that this was a betrayal of trust, and an absolute waste of my time and effort. I would never deal with this company again and would urge others who value decency and integrity to do likewise. Subsequent to the response from Ingleby Homes, I wish to add that they DID NOT ask if I wished to increase my offer. They said that an offer, equal to mine had been recieved from a first time buyer, and that the vendor, having previously accepted my offer, now wished to reverse that decision and accept the other equal offer. I was informed by email that the vendor would now proceed in that way. Never was I invited to increase my offer. If they dispute this claim, I can upload their response which clearly vindicates my claim. It is clearly more than integrity they appear to lack.

Could not have been less helpful during our tenancy. Emails regarding issues (damp, electrical, and heating) were ignored, we we're lied to and mislead, hung up on when asking to speak with the manager, and cancelled on when appointments were made to speak with the manager. Would not recommend!

Would never use again, under any circumstances. The most ignorant, unhelpful, vile people they have working for them. They constantly lied to us and made our year miserable in that house. Things falling off and apart including, Shower rails falling ON people!! Curtain poles, door handles and fridge doors. Refused to do any repairs or help. Done nothing about damage that previous tenant had caused such as broken oven, stained carpets with fizzy juices and scraped/marked walls. They then proceeded to charge us money off our deposit for the damage the previous tenant had caused despite us emailing and calling them numerous times to tell them everything needing repairs. Complete joke of a company, ridiculous customer service.

DO NOT USE!! LIED CONSTANTLY TO MYSELF ALSO. HAD TO TAKE THEM TO A TRIBUNAL SO THEY WOULD GET REPAIRS WITHIN THE FLAT DONE. THE FLAT WAS NOT FIRE SAFE AND HIGHLY UNCLEAN. NOW HAVING TO REPORT TO OMBUDSMEN. I WAS ALSO SCREAMED AT AND THREATENED BY THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY. I WAS ALSO TOLD I GET WHAT I PAY FOR AND THAT WASN'T THE CASE AS THERE WASN'T ALIT WORKING IN THE PROPERTY. I HAVE BEEN LIED TO AND TREATED DISGUSTINGLY! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL COMPANY!
