Disappointing from the start. Customer service, communication, and general service was very poor. We struggled to sell at first and we asked for advice, and were advised to lower the cost which we did. still struggled to sell. Other houses close to us with other estate agents sold quickly and for more money which can only mean that they were not marketing our property very well. finally got an offer from a first time buyer, who did not have a mortgage in principle, this is something they didn't check before allowing them to play an offer which then caused a lot of issues as the buyer couldn't get a mortgage. it took 4 weeks to get the mortgage through, and I had to chase MP for updates instead of them calling me. I had to ask a lot of questions to find out what was going on instead of being informed. finally they got an offer. in that time we have a viewing organised and Michael poole informed me that it would be cancelled, which it was not. and a prospective buyer arrived unexpectedly. throughout the whole process of the sale I did not hear from Michael poole once on the process of the sale, however on the process of the purchase, Robinsons updated me every week. when we came to complete, we agreed to sell the fridge as part of the house. someone from MP advised me that everything had to go through the solicitors which was fine. and then on the moving day, I had a call fr another member of staff to ask me what was going on with some sort of private arrangement. no communication between colleagues. I would not recommend MP, staff often do not know what's going on, and are rude when questioned as to why. I wish I had gone with someone else from the start

They do very little to actually help sell your house, there only solution is to just keep lowering the price. We asked for our house to be featured on their social media page relentlessly, to spark interest page and they couldn't be bothered. We were ignored from start to finish.

When I asked M'bro branch for viewing on another property I have never heard anything back. Completely waste of time with selling or buying property.

Tried to get a viewing on a property that they had the keys for - had to wait nearly two weeks to view and the day before they cancelled as the house had been sold through another estate agents. Wish I’d rang them now. Terrible estate agents - difficult to get through to and appalling service.

Absolutely appalling estate agents. The Billingham office and the service they deliver is dreadful. To say they are underhand is an understatement. Overpriced houses and appalling customer service. Highly recommend not going near this agent.

Poor communication by the staff during my search for a property to rent, really disappointed!!

Would never recommend renting from Michael Poole in Middlesbrough! They take ur money and charge you for things that were already damaged inside the property was spoken to so so unprofessional by Judy at the Middlesbrough branch when trying to get answers absolutely disgusting they are out to get your money for Anything!!! Will say anything to not give you your bond back and even charge 300 pound for ending a tenancy early shocking!!!

Don’t ever rent through these, even when you leave the house cleaner than it was when you moved in. They just try and have you for anything, always keep the paperwork you get when you move in because they even try to charge you damage that was already there and on their paperwork
