Went from London to watch the house, got confirmed. Had all paper work sent online. Next day i phone them to let them know i sent all they wanted and i get told property is gone with no notice. Rude and poor service

Do not go to this company if you have bad credit or an active ccj they will ask for 6 months rent upfront off you And offer no help. I am a small local business owner looking for another local business to help me out as have nowhere to live and belabour were polite but of no help 👎 …

Absolute bunch of unhelpful crooks.desperate to move from current property due to rogue landlord. We were told we would need a current landlords reference, we said this is obviously not possible. They did not offer an alternative or any other help. And would want nearly £300 for an agreement that you could get offline for free!!!!!!

Really disappointed to read your recent review on our level of service to you. Although you have not left your name(s) we believe we showed you a property in Cefn Y Bedd recently. When taking forward a tenancy we have no choice but to insist on a previous landlord reference, should the applicant be in another rental property at the time of their viewing - this is to protect the landlord who is our client. This was explained to you at the viewing and therefore in the absence of any landlord reference there was no point in us being able to offer any other property to you because you would not qualify for the same reasons outlined above. You also admitted at the viewing that it was your current landlords view that you had been late in the payment of the rent on successive occasions, again another reason that would disqualify you from renting a property with us. I am afraid that you are misinformed if you believe that you can download a suitable tenancy agreement on-line for free, this is not the case. In addition I would re-iterate that the £290 inc VAT that was quoted is to cover the 2.5 - 3 hours worth of administrative work that it takes to set up a valid tenancy agreement and complete the referencing. This payment also holds the property exclusively for the applicant. Finally I find it distasteful and malicious that you choose to use the word 'crooks' in describing my company. It is totally without foundation and is a wholly inaccurate description of the work we do and the values we adhere to. I would advise you to keep clear of such emotive and slanderous remarks otherwise I will take legal advice and you will be identified through your IP address.

Belvoir does not give away the entire deposit. For me they said I left the oven dirty as there was nothing done and after they counted 200 pound and for a carpet that had small spots of 70 pound

Awful awful letting agents! My experience with them was attrocious! No repairs were ever taken seriously, I left my tenancy after 9 months and in that time they didn't even have working heaters and it took 5 months for a bathroom light to be fixed. It was truly horrific! One of the staff was exceptionally helpful, otherwise I found them rude and have no concern for a tenants welfare at all. They always blamed the landlord, however if you are an agent with apparently such a grand reputation, should you be taking on landlords like that?!?! A number of us left the complex for similar reasons which says it all! A truly horrific experience which I would never wish on anyone! Shocking!

Our experience with Belvoir lettings was not good, my elderly mother was their tenant and I dealt with them on her behalf. They are all about the landlord – tenants are not a priority. I raised a number of repair issues with Belvoir such as locked windows with no keys, faulty heating controls, faulty lights, missing carbon monoxide alarm, various trip and slip hazards, blocked guttering and others. After some chasing up, a few issues were resolved, but most were not. We were politely informed that the landlord “wanted to leave things”, and our requests were closed in their system. Totally unacceptable.

Staff have been friendly and helpfull whenever we have had cause to contact the agency. We are experiencing great problems with our tenant at present and Sally has endeavored to keep us in the loop at every stage in the process.

Rented a property from belvoir and i know not to do that again, the customer service is useless, had problem after problem in the property and informed belvoir constantly, legally a property is uninhabitable if there is no heating, they could not of cared less, payed 6 months upfront and left after the third month it was unbearable, after leaving property, did not get any refund whatsoever so lost out on 3 months worth of rent, even when i did complain about all problems the staff were just rude, and did not care less, when i left property the company had the cheek to deduct costs to clean the property even though the property was in better condition than when we moved in, i don't understand how the company won awards it completely confuses me i do not recommend
