Sheer hard work separates Charters from the competition
As property developers we work with many different agents around the South to sell houses for us. At the £1m plus mark we have worked with the big 5 national/international agents regularly, but have rarely come across a more dedicated team than those at Charters and in particular Nony Kerr-Smiley. I say dedicated in the sense of total focus on finding not just a buyer for our recent property, but the right buyer - the only way that can be done is through pure graft, putting in the hours (very often after-hours and Sundays in Nony's case) on the phone and viewing the property with potential buyers. This has not often been our experience with other agents who can very often rely on their name/reputation and website to generate viewings and who so often lack the skill demonstrated by the Charters team of listening to the buyer's needs and thus getting the right person to the property and then having the depth of knowledge of the house and the local market and competition to be able to deal with questions or indeed concerns. Nony has been outstanding in this regard, but there is strength in depth at Charters and I would be confident that any member of the team would be able to show the same levels of skill, knowledge and the necessary determination to secure a buyer for any future property that we bring to market in their increasing large sphere of influence in the South and South East. Thank you Nony, Elliot, Rob and the rest of the team for your considerable and noticeable hard work.

Professional, Kept in touch. Honest.
I felt in touch with the market and what was happening with the sale of the house with Nony. She made effort to call and check how we were feeling with what was happening with the sale of our house and what we our requirements were with the house purchase. It felt personal and I would not hesitate to call Nony again and sell or buy through her.

Great service and highly recommended
Kevin provided a great service and opened our eyes to mortgage options we hadn't even considered possible. He greatly simplified what can be a very complex process. He was able to find us a great deal on a new mortgage and would highly recommend him.

Best Estate Agent in Town
First class customer service. None really gets to know you as a person, rather than just another name on a database. Even though i was buying a property - rather than selling - i really felt Nony was acting on my behalf. Keeps in regular contact and always to happy and positive. :-)

Integrity. This is the key. It is as a result of Nony Kerr-Smiley’s integrity that she has our trust. Speaking as a Client, it is our belief and trust in Nony which sets her apart, and over and above, others in her field. Integrity is everything we look for in an Agent and Nony has that in abundance. We have faith in her, following her ability to listen to our queries, and in particular, concerns. She understands what we want. Her abilities, I believe, derive from a desire to engage properly with those she works with. Collaboration is vital. You get a real sense of teamwork, Nony and Client, with the end goal always in mind. Nony having correctly set expectations at the beginning via her knowledge of the area, the market and people. Nony really is first rate. Our faith in her has never wavered.
