We have just had what I can only describe as a traumatic experience with this estate agent, they are absolutely appalling. Daniel Lowry did the valuation which was ok. His wife Julie staged the house which was fine. Niche did the photography & they were great. Richard did all the viewings & he was great. Then we accepted an offer & Jeremy was assigned ’Sales Progressor’ which I assume is an ironic title because I have never encountered anyone so ill-equipped to progress anything in my life. His only discernible talent appears to be sending utterly pointless WhatsApps. We accepted an offer in July of 2025 & despite J telling us in September & October that we were about to exchange contracts, several times (but no other detail) our solicitor then informed us on November 4th that there had been ‘no written communication from our buyers buyer since July’. When we called J to discuss this he went from being defensive to aggressive - blaming absolutely anyone & everyone but taking no responsibility what-so-ever himself. He suggested it was the fault of our buyers, their solicitors, our buyers buyer, their estate agents…absolutely anyone but him! He told us that ‘you are not the only one to be lied to here, I’ve been lied to as well!!’ A breathtaking lack of self awareness & he ended the conversation not with an apology as we had expected, no - he told us our buyers estate agents had been ‘b - ———-ing him!’ I have had the misfortune of dealing with a number of unprofessional & untrustworthy individuals in my time but Jeremy & Daniel top them all! Daniel became involved in proceedings when it was clear that Jeremy had not been progressing our sale AT ALL. Unfortunately rather than apologise & try to smooth things over, Daniel took the same (baffling) stance that Jeremy had! It was all someone else’s fault, it was nothing to do with Property Assistant & he made no attempt to apologise. I really think they need to ask for a refund from the training company they use because this ‘take no responsibility or accountability what-so-ever’ position is not compatible with decent business practice. When we issued PA with a deadline for exchanging contracts, Daniel’s response was to completely ignore us & cease communication until the date that we had given when he sent us a WhatsApp telling us we needed to get rid of our buyers & they would find us a new one?! We finally parted company with them In the New Year & went on the market with Winkworth (who were excellent) & whom I would recommend. There is a truly hilarious element to this sorry tale - Property Assistant actually has the audacity to charge above the market rate in selling fees!!!! To call Property Assistant’s business practices unprofessional churlish & immature would I fear be unfair to unprofessional churlish & immature people. *PLEASE DON’T LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES - avoid this circus like the plague**

This estate agents must be the worst in Lincoln by far, extremely unprofessional, not transparent and do not understand how to hold people accountable. They all need training including their managers as it’s a shambles dealing with them and from hear on out I will make sure they’re never recommended. They have no respect for wasting your time and money.
Absolute cowboys, think they’re on selling sunset with the attitude.
Our experience with this letting agency was extremely disappointing. After our application was accepted and the holding deposit paid, we were told we had to move in the day after the previous tenants moved out and accept the property in whatever condition it was left in. When we asked for the lease agreement so we could give proper notice to our current landlord, they falsely claimed they couldn’t issue it more than three weeks in advance but still advised us to give notice anyway. The following week, they changed the proposed move-in date to sometime in early January without giving a firm date and remained vague about the situation throughout. Two weeks passed with no contract and no confirmed move-in date, so we informed them we were keeping the application open but reserved the right to withdraw and receive a refund if needed. We also clarified that we would not accept the property in whatever condition it was left in. Despite these reasonable and entirely standard requests, the agency abruptly withdrew our application. Altogether, the process felt disorganised, misleading, and highly stressful. I would not recommend this agency based on our experience.
Wasted my time for two weeks for a property, did not let me know about the outcome even after many calls telling me more than once "the colleague working on this is out at the moment". If I wouldn't have found another property to move in I would have been homeless, I understand the market it's competitive but some transparency would be appreciated.
I should have read reviews prior to using this company . They seemed amazing in the beginning with the initial tenancy agreement etc. In November 2024 we contacted them about renewing our tenancy and were told we were offered another year. …
Contacted lettings regarding arranging a viewing. The receptionist was not very pleasant and was abrupt. She arranged a time for a viewing and then asked for me for details if I match a potential tenants criteria. Some of the questions were …
WARNING! Avoid at all costs. There's are some good letting agents in Lincoln unfortunately my experience with Martin and co was terrible. The staff are rude and unprofessional and blatantly …
Horrible service. Daniel, who was dealing with our viewing on Winton Road showed up late by 15 minutes. We then waited for the viewing before us to proceed. As we entered he seemed nonchalant to us, flipping through his phone with no acknowledgement of being late. We put in an offer just a few thousand below asking price, over the odds which was rejected due to another party being in a better position to proceed. The property was then reintroduced to the market, a few months later because as Daniel said 'the buyer couldnt sort out their finances'. We put down another offer, and were rejected again promptly. To summarise my dealings with this man is like dealing with a brick wall. Not the type of agent I would want dealing with my sale.
