This is from the perspective of a tenant who lived for 2 years in a flat in a converted period house, professionally managed by Paramount. I was in another city and I hadn’t been able to view the flat before moving in. The flat was however very true to what was advertised – I was glad to have made my decision based on the video and description they put on the ad. The contract was a transparent and well-balanced one according to my experience – good enough to protect the landlord’s property but not overly landlord leaning, which is fair to me as a tenant. Paramount has a reliable network of contractors/cleaners/engineers to deal with the ongoing maintenance of the property. There was an occasion when leaking happen from my flat and I was out of town, having left with Paramount no spare key as I changed the lock previously. They somehow worked out a solution without my presence which protected the benefit of both the landlord and tenant in an efficient manner. Paramount offers an emergency hotline which is responsive and helpful. There was a time I locked myself out and another time the smoke alarm inside the flat was mistakenly triggered – both situations were immediately answered. They are flexible to accommodate adjustments which made my life a lot easier when sorting the moves – date for monthly payment, changes made to move-out date and the associated adjustment on rent, etc. – all effectively communicated (although you might expect to take a closer look in certain calculation at times). They also care to collect feedback from the tenant for personal view about the property and improvement advice when moving out. I’ve also got my deposit refunded within a reasonable timeframe. From viewing to contract signing, from daily experience to moving out – I would say everyone at Paramount are responsive and respectful. A few caring and humane company I could have come across in this city. I have recommended Paramount to my colleague who might need someone to take care of his vacant family home.
