Rude and unhelpful phone call put me off ever buying or selling through this agency. Good luck if you are trying to sell your home as they don't appear to have a sales patter and are evasive.

Karl, I cannot see that you have been a client of Cameron. Please contact me directly as this is not the normal feedback that we receive, I would be interested to see what has gone wrong. clive@cameron.co Many thanks. Clive.

EDIT: in reply to Cameron Estate Agents whom kindly took a break from counting money to reply to me. Nothing malicious here, just the truth. You may not have me on record but I am very close to an ex tenant of yours and have seen first hand your 'work'. It's moving day! You are excited to move into your new place. How does Cameron make this exciting time special? They turn up late and throw the keys at you because they are showing other unfortunate people around a different property because you know, time is money. Upon entering your exciting property you realise the place isn't all that clean but you're not petty and happy to move in. It's time to move on after a decent stay (decent because nothing went wrong, heaven forbid if it did because Cameron only operate when money is involved). You clean up, pack your things and off you go. And then the fun starts. You want your deposit back. And why shouldn't you get it back? It's your money, the place is clean and damage free. But this is Cameron you're dealing with. PLEASE READ IF YOU EVER MAKE THE FOOLISH DECISION TO USE CAMERON ESTATE AGENTS. Amongst other utterly ridiculous things... A door mat was left behind in the flat out of kindness. It even had 'welcome' written on it. A nice gesture to welcome the next tenants. Now this isn't deemed necessary by the 'professional' cleaning team that Cameron use. Ok fair enough, not wanted. Now how much money does it cost to pick up a door mat and dispose of it in a bin situated a few metres from the front door? Surely nothing? I'm afraid you're wrong. It's £10. £10 to pick up a door mat and put it in the bin. I'm considering switching careers to disposing door mats. You can imagine the cost of unnecessary cleaning that was deemed essential by the 'professional' cleaning contractors commisssoned by Cameron. If you dispute this with Cameron they just cite the tenancy agreement blah blah blah. Instead of saying "yeah to be honest, if I hired a cleaner that charged £60 to clean 2 already clean bathrooms, I'd be outraged and wouldn't hire them". But this is Cameron. £20 to hoover a carpet! What until you see the cleaning breakdown when you exit your property! If you've never been mugged, now is the time! Food, water and accomodation are basic human needs. It's a shame one of these needs is dealt with by people who have no problem extorting hard working people out of their money. It's enough they extort entrance and exit money out of you. And what's that for by the way? Admin fees? Contracts? Couple of hours work? Hundreds of pounds to you. Oh and the complaints! I've never laughed so much! The complaints procedure! And whom would any poor person complain to? Cameron themselves? Have your bank card handy because they will only act if money is involved. You should all be ashamed of yourselves and be honest, you wouldn't put up with being treated this way so why are you doing it to others? When you vacate a property you are left with sizable cleaning bills, even though you have thoroughly cleaned the property. Unprofessional throughout tenancy but won't answer to anyone because you've signed on the dotted line. No wonder they are all wearing expensive suits and driving Audi's, it's because they extort many people who simply need a basic human necessity of a roof over their heads. As if you haven't had to pay out enough already, Cameron will ensure they squeeze you for every penny you have because a rolex isn't going to pay for itself now is it. Avoid like the plague.

Dear Adam Further to your updated response, the facts are as follows:- You are not, or have ever been a customer of Cameron. You claim to be close to a former tenant, but have not advised the subject property address or any other information. Cameron do not benefit from proposed deductions to tenants deposits. Cameron act as agent to the landlord in such matters. All properties are checked by an independent inventory company (Not Cameron) who supply all parties with an impartial report. Cameron do not and can not make any deductions from a tenants deposit without the express written authority of the tenant Cameron are regulated and licensed by The Property Ombudsman, The Association of Residential Letting Agents and members of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. In the event that our internal complaints procedure cannot resolve matters, the complainant can escalate the matter for a binding independent adjudication Cameron have over 900 independent reviews the vast majority of which make recommendation. The Cameron team are hard working Property Professionals aiming to deliver outstanding customer service. Your very personal insults and defamation is unhelpful Adam, in order for Cameron to help you, rather than make statements without foundation anonymously on Google, may I respectfully suggest that you identify the subject property and ask the actual tenant to raise any issues directly with this agency email complaints@cameron.co Cameron have no record of ‘Adam King’ ever being a customer and believe this review to be fake and created by a malicious third party only to tarnish the reputation of Cameron Estate Agents. Accordingly, Google have been advised and a request for removal of this review has been made. Cameron never make a deduction from a tenants deposit without their express authority and in any event all tenants have the right to independent adjudication via the Tenants Deposit Scheme If you are a genuine customer Adam, please email complaints @cameron.co with full details of your identity and subject property. I would then be pleased to assist. Ketan Tailor - Senior Lettings Manager

Google should introduce negative stars! I would love to rate this company a negative 100. Why? Update: The director has responded below and attempted to defend their incompetence. None of their team has been able to provide an answer relevant to my queries. TDS was a long route which I didn't want to take. These guys are just robbers in suits. Their T&C are unfair and designed to serve their own financial interest, what you say in a dispute situation does not matter to them. I'm now determined to share my experience on trustpilot.co.uk. the power is in customers hand, I urge anyone to first stay away from this guys and secondly, if too late, share their experiences here and on trustpilot. I rented a 2 bed flat through these guys. Although not much went wrong during my tenancy but they took me for a ride when it came to end of my tenancy and I wanted my deposit back. They held all of deposit back because of cleaning charge and a window privacy film on the doors of living room leading to the balcony. The film was put on using water and washing up liquid. So because of £250 which was made up of 190 for cleaning and 60 quid for removal of the film, my whole deposit was held ransom. The flat was handed back in spotless condition. The agent failed to prove to me where or which part of the property was not cleaned. During the thrilling 2 months battle and an eventual court filing, the agent had no evidence to charge for any of the claim they made and I was able to get my money back. Problem summary: 1. Now according the refund policy, they should have paid the balance right away but did not. 2. The agent or landlord cannot enforce cleaning charge onto tenants - that's what the law says. 3. 2 months on, the window still had the privacy film on but I was charged for removal of this film - this was a shameless attempt to rob me of my 60 quid. Update 1.07.2018; no one from your team has been able to comment on this point. Either you are ignorant or you know nothing. 4. I was dealing with a robot which had a "senior property manager" tag on and called Anna and who demonstrated experience of a school drop-out. She was pathetic, incompetent and robotic who did not understand the case at all. Update: in response to their response bellow; I have no interest in attacking your staff. My case was handled by a true incompetent manager. The public needs to know this fact. Hire people who can do the job if you care about your business reputation. The outcome: After 2 months of emails and court application I got my 250 back with an apology from the director. The director I have to say is capable and quite understanding. Advice: Do your research and know your tenants right and the law governing tenancy. Particularly around cleaning charges. Clean your property properly at the end however you don't have to have it professionally cleaned. It's a scam. Cleaning companies charge 75 quid for a 2 bed 2 bathroom property but agents charge you many times more than that for it. View estate agents as filthy leeches who will attempt to suck money off your pocket. Be prepared to fight them off with knowledge about your rights. And avoid using Cameron estate agents.

Thank you for your review Bashir I have spoken to my letting and property management team regarding the matters you raise and can find no justification for your comments You were also advised of the proposed deductions, which are all based on an Independent Inventory Check against the Independent Check in Report. Monies can never be taken from your deposit without your specific agreement, and you were invited to raise a dispute with The Tenancy Deposit Scheme for an independent adjudication if you did not agree, which you did not. You have chosen not to follow our complaints procedure which is clearly laid out on our website, but rather make untrue inaccurate statements on third party review sites. The TDS scheme is the appropriate, cost free, independent remedy. You chose to ignore this and issue a court summons which may be viewed as an abuse of legal process. Your very personal attacks on my staff are unhelpful. They are property professionals trying to deliver the best possible customer service. Cameron do not benefit whether tenants receive all or none of their deposit, post tenancy. Cameron are always pleased to receive reviews, good or bad, where justified, fair and accurate. Your review, however, is none of these, and your comments regarding the Estate Agency Profession in general are unjustified

Cameron's are probably the biggest agents in West Drayton. This has contributed to making them oily and smug. They are invariably snoooty and unhelpful. It's difficult to identify what they add to the buying process except another layer of difficulty. We wouldn't use them again for our next sale.

God help you if Gabriela Rutledge is your agent. She caused hundreds of pounds of damage through her carelessness and general stupidity, at no cost to herself or Cameron. The owners of the property footed the majority of the bill. Cameron was also unable to replace a broken dishwasher in our property for nearly 3 months, and I mean 3 months after the owners asked for it to be replaced. At 1225/mo, I expect a working dishwasher. The check out report was riddled with errors and, when we left before the last day of the month, our rent that was supposed to be prorated and reimbursed to us, was not. So we paid for the beginning of the next tenants' stay. My husband and I are in the process filing formal complaints.

Dr. Chun, While we sincerely apologise for your dissatisfaction, we would like to thank you for your patronage and feedback. It is unfortunate that you have felt that you have had no other recourse to reach us than to revert to posting your complaints online. It is furthermore regrettable that you did not exhaust the remedies under Cameron’s complaint procedure and appropriately address your concerns to the relevant individual within the Company. Should you have not felt that your matter was adequately remedied you have further recourse by way of a complaints procedure to the Property Ombudsman who will consider the correspondence sent and received between the parties and the steps taken by this Company in trying to remedy the issues which you have raised. As a professional organisation we do not wish to enter a debate on public platforms such as this and strongly urge that if you are unsatisfied with any elements of the service that you have received thus far, to please follow the correct complaints procedures with our Company and the accredited trade bodies that we are members of. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Thank you for your co-operation with this matter

As an overseas landlord, I have been highly dissatisfied with this property managing agent, particularly the Head of the Leasing Department, Michelle Mellars. She is very rude, does not look after your interests as the landlord and takes no responsibility for her negligence and the many mistakes of her team. They do no due diligence in selecting tenants, do no collect rent regularly, fail to do what you ask and do not communicate problems. I am now taking legal action to try to recover 3 months of rent in arrears and stolen furniture from my last tenants, and filing a formal complain against Cameron Group to the Ombudsman, the legal body that protect the interests of landlords. This is the worse agent I have had to deal with.

Welcome to our West Drayton office. We have been at the heart of the town since The Cameron Group started in 1994, although our current office is not our first. We moved to our present branch in 2017 – a more impressive premises in one of West Drayton’s most prominent positions. You can’t underestimate how powerful our eye-catching window displays are - many home movers walk in and book viewings on the strength of what they see in our shop front. Being a West Drayton estate agent with a physical branch also means you can pop in and meet the people behind the name. There’s a warm welcome for all, whether you just want some moving advice, are looking for a property for sale in West Drayton or are a current client of ours needing an update.
