Google should introduce negative stars! I would love to rate this company a negative 100. Why? Update: The director has responded below and attempted to defend their incompetence. None of their team has been able to provide an answer relevant to my queries. TDS was a long route which I didn't want to take. These guys are just robbers in suits. Their T&C are unfair and designed to serve their own financial interest, what you say in a dispute situation does not matter to them. I'm now determined to share my experience on trustpilot.co.uk. the power is in customers hand, I urge anyone to first stay away from this guys and secondly, if too late, share their experiences here and on trustpilot. I rented a 2 bed flat through these guys. Although not much went wrong during my tenancy but they took me for a ride when it came to end of my tenancy and I wanted my deposit back. They held all of deposit back because of cleaning charge and a window privacy film on the doors of living room leading to the balcony. The film was put on using water and washing up liquid. So because of £250 which was made up of 190 for cleaning and 60 quid for removal of the film, my whole deposit was held ransom. The flat was handed back in spotless condition. The agent failed to prove to me where or which part of the property was not cleaned. During the thrilling 2 months battle and an eventual court filing, the agent had no evidence to charge for any of the claim they made and I was able to get my money back. Problem summary: 1. Now according the refund policy, they should have paid the balance right away but did not. 2. The agent or landlord cannot enforce cleaning charge onto tenants - that's what the law says. 3. 2 months on, the window still had the privacy film on but I was charged for removal of this film - this was a shameless attempt to rob me of my 60 quid. Update 1.07.2018; no one from your team has been able to comment on this point. Either you are ignorant or you know nothing. 4. I was dealing with a robot which had a "senior property manager" tag on and called Anna and who demonstrated experience of a school drop-out. She was pathetic, incompetent and robotic who did not understand the case at all. Update: in response to their response bellow; I have no interest in attacking your staff. My case was handled by a true incompetent manager. The public needs to know this fact. Hire people who can do the job if you care about your business reputation. The outcome: After 2 months of emails and court application I got my 250 back with an apology from the director. The director I have to say is capable and quite understanding. Advice: Do your research and know your tenants right and the law governing tenancy. Particularly around cleaning charges. Clean your property properly at the end however you don't have to have it professionally cleaned. It's a scam. Cleaning companies charge 75 quid for a 2 bed 2 bathroom property but agents charge you many times more than that for it. View estate agents as filthy leeches who will attempt to suck money off your pocket. Be prepared to fight them off with knowledge about your rights. And avoid using Cameron estate agents.
