When we decided we wanted to move home I went onto the internet and used a comparison site to see who we should consider. Ashtons led in all categories listed on the site (number of sales, highest percentage in asking price etc., quickest sales etc). However, I felt it would be appropriate to contact 4 estate agents to get their views on what they thought of our property and more importantly how quickly it would sell for a fair price. Out of the 4 estate agents who pitched their services to us, Ashtons stood head and shoulders above the other three agents. Tom Case convinced us that if we used Ashtons they would have no issues in selling our home for the asking price if not more. Tom also valued our house higher than the other 3 estate agents. I wasn't convinced at first but I decided to go with Ashtons because of Tom's professionalism. Within the first hour of us signing the contract with Ashtons, Olivia and her colleagues had booked 18 (EIGHTEEN!) viewings on the Friday and Saturday afternoon. Out of those initial viewings we had 3 offers ABOVE the asking price. Tom was right with his valuation. Once we had agreed who we wanted to sell to, Sam Ward came into the picture. Throughout the sale Same has ALWAYS made himself available to answer my emails and phone calls and even giving me the bad news when solicitors along the chain were holding us up. Sam has been brilliant throughout the process and I highlight his efforts because even though Tom has to sign customers up, and Olivia and her colleagues have to make the bookings... Sam had to put up with me for longer!
