Hi Louis, We are surprised after our earlier conversation that you have left this review. To clarify, we still to this day have not had contact with the previous buyer or their solicitor since early January, we have written evidence from our client's solicitor that the original contract had been requested back and we had no evidence to the contrary that this had not happened. Our client (the seller) had also requested his solicitor obtains the original contract papers on several occasions. We encouraged you not to proceed with committing money on the purchase until we had confirmation that the original contract had been returned and thus you would have been protected against this happening. As I said earlier we are sincerely sorry for how this situation played out, it is a first for us and certainly not how we conduct our business. You were not an additional option, from all we knew you were the only option for our vendor, unfortunately that was clearly not the case despite all of the information we had received in the weeks prior to last Friday.
