STAY AWAY FROM BELVOIR

The worst agency to rent from. Stay away from this agency. I rented from them for 4 years all this time they haven't bothered to check the property even when i called them and asked them to do so. I never missed any payment however when they decided to increase the rent from 800 to 1250 i new that is time for me to leave. i gave them 1 month notice , after 1 month i asked them to come and collect the keys. At that moment i was told that they didn't had a notice so i should continue paying the rent. One of the agents camed to the property i handed him the keys. In 3 weeks after i handed the keys i received a email in wich i am threaten that if i don't pay the rent they will take it further.

I have been renting a house from this agency for 5 years, whenever i had some issues like boiler leak or boiler didn't work i had to wait for ages and call and email them multiple times even contacted the landlord because agency could not care less. I always paid rent on time and kept the house in great condition i even paint the walls myself several times. But suddenly they increased the rent from £800 to £1250 in wich moment i decided to move. I called them a month prior to give them notice and to make sure that they won't say i didn't i even emailed them the notice. When time camed to hand the keys I called to arrange the date, at that moment i was told that they never knew i was moving and when i told them about the phone call and email, i have been told that i had sent the email to a different department.

Dear Emmanual, Thank you for your comments I am surprised you left such a review after we resolved this yesterday during our telephone call, I can see any repairs reported throughout the duration of your tenancy were actioned within a timely manner as you reported this direct to ourselves and direct to your landlord on the same day. I reviewed the matter yesterday with regards to your one month’s notice, unfortunately, you sent your notice to a completely different organisation that has no link to Belvoir it was only as of yesterday we were informed you wish to vacate the property within 8 days. I provided a resolution to help yourselves vacate the property earlier than planned to try and ease the burden which you agreed to, if we received the email to any department at Belvoir it would’ve been processed without delay. Asked these people to value one of my properties for sale. Took all the details and said they would be in touch. Week later I called them for an update and was told only the manager could do valuations. Over another week, still nothing. I contact them to be told the valuation is too complicated for them because the property is a business downstairs and residential upstairs. All this they already knew. Inexperienced, I suggest you avoid. Also lied by saying they tried to contact me but couldn't. I received no missed calls, no emails and neither did my tenants at the property.

Had a viewing booked for today. Confirmed with them that they will wait at the property until 1630 and as long as I got there within this time they will facilitate a viewing. Traveled 29 miles, 40 minutes and paid for the toll. Got to the property at exactly 1622. Arrive to find 3 other customers waiting to view the property and no sign of Belvoir staff. On calling them the said the agent had to leave as he had other viewings booked. Lied and said they waited until 1625 when there was no sign of the staff. This was corroborated by another customer who got there before me also stated he had waited 10 minutes. Not a single apology or sign of empathy from the agency and kept demanding we book another viewing. Unprofessional and incompetent. Will not be going anywhere near this agency again.

absolutely shocking service, I have contacted them several times over a property that is available and had no response back I keep getting told that the property isn't available and that it has gone, but its still available on their website, and I also know the person who owns the property and he's also told me that its still available, they just don't seem bothered at all
