Wouldn't recommend as a buyer (no experience as a seller). Misled, use of sneaky tactics and also outright lied to during the purchasing process.

Not very impressed by general level of service from this company. It took them over 2 months to rent my place out and I got a nightmare tenant at the end of it! Second time round, I got a great couple all moved in within 2 weeks of first advertising it myself so it cant have been that hard a sell?!

I had a very disappointing end-of-tenancy experience with Martin & Co Tunbridge Wells. After moving out, the agency proposed deductions of over £1,010 (Total deposit was £1269) from our deposit for cleaning, redecoration, and waste removal. Throughout the process, I repeatedly requested supporting evidence and invoices directly from the agency, but these were not properly provided before the dispute was escalated to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). Overall, more than 80% of the disputed amount was returned to us after independent review. One particularly concerning issue was that the agency accidentally sent me another tenant’s deduction proposal during the process, which appeared very similar in nature. This gave me the impression that large deduction requests may not be isolated incidents. I would strongly advise future tenants to: - document the property thoroughly at move-in and move-out, - report issues immediately by email, - keep all communication in writing, - and challenge unsupported deductions through TDS if necessary. While the TDS process itself was fair and professional, the handling of the deposit dispute by the agency caused unnecessary stress and prolonged delays.

As this tenancy was let on a Tenant Find Only basis, Martin & Co Tunbridge Wells was not responsible for the ongoing management of the property during the tenancy. In relation to the deposit return, our role was to administer the process and communicate the landlord's proposed deductions. We are required to present the landlord's position and supporting information as instructed, but we do not independently determine or influence the deductions being sought. We acknowledge that an incorrect deduction proposal relating to another tenancy was inadvertently sent to you during the process. While this was an administrative error and was corrected immediately once identified, we understand how concerning this would have been and sincerely apologise for the mistake. We have since reviewed our procedures to ensure this cannot happen again. Where an agreement cannot be reached between the parties, the Tenancy Deposit Scheme provides an independent adjudication service to review the evidence submitted by both sides and determine the outcome fairly. We respect and abide by the decisions reached through that process. We regret that the experience caused you stress and thank you for your feedback, which has enabled us to improve our internal processes.

I keep unsubscribing to all emails and you repeatedly send me your rubbish. This is 2 years after 1 interaction I had with the office where they would not send me a video tour of a rental (I was overseas) and said I'd have to view in person only. Get a grip

They have now accused me of never being a client. Very odd unprofessional behavior all round. Avoid at all costs.

David sent insulting emails , with poor spelling and nonsensical sentences. We think he was possibly drunk. The advice was very, very poor.
