The team at Maddisons did a great job of marketing our home. We were impressed by the attention to detail shown by the sales team in putting together a well polished property listing and video. The valuation proved accurate. We were able to realise 98% of the guide price. Maddisons arranged several viewings, helped negotiate an acceptable price and we were under offer just 11 days after the listing went live. We found the sales progression painful however. It took 25 weeks from accepting the offer to completing the sale. The sales progression team were overly optimistic about the completion date. Our solicitor commented that we had been primed to exchange contracts too early, when there was no realistic prospect of proceeding.
