On the whole Belvoir has picked up where Patrick Williams left off and done us a good job at managing our property for us with regard to compliance and getting things fixed for the client. There was some concerns that a leak was not dealt with in the timely fashion one would have hoped but apart from that, mostly good. Paras Parekh was our property manage and was very helpful and attentive when needed.

Me and my partner brought a house through them 2 years ago and they were great so we decided to do with them again... What a mistake. It all started out fine until the Sales Progressor got involved. She was awful. Clearly just wanted the sale and lacked empathy for our situation. She was constantly saying how pushy the buyers were being and we expected to move in August. The solicitors dropped the bomb that the buyers were on holiday for the whole of August and wont complete till September.... she said had "no clue" but then later admitted in an email the buyers weren't pushing her at all (all evidenced over email). We ended up losing so much money because of her as we stayed in Reading way longer than we wanted. Her job was to communicate and she was often communicating with the totally wrong people. My poor solicitor was so fed up by her antics as she had completely confused everything. Luckily the Sales Progressor the other end of our chain was amazing clear and consise. This is just long story short but hopefully you can see the issues. Feel like she owes us money but we weren't sure how we could go about getting compensation luckily for them...I've never been so stressed in my life, it had such a negative impact on my health as well. We're just glad it's all over and we never have to deal with Sune or the company ever again.

In this particular instance, I have managed to review your purchase file as we recognise your name from your purchase transaction. I have discussed your purchase with my team and would welcome the opportunity of discussing this in more detail with you. Jason has worked within my organisation for many years and has always been professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and above all very well respected by his many clients. From reviewing your purchase I believe that the comments you have made are not an accurate reflection of the service provided to you at the time. Your initial offer was made in February and you completed your purchase during May which is within three months. Your suggestion of Jasons’s behaviour being unprofessional and stating that he would not book in additional viewings is not correct as I can see a total of six appointments were conducted with you between February and May. I have also reviewed the situation with the water at the property. The client in this instance was a corporate client and due to this they had paid a contractor to attend the home and drain the entire water system for insurance purposes, and to avoid an escape of water. It is a legal requirement to have running water at a property which this always had, it is not illegal if the water system is in full working order but drained prior to your purchase. Jason couldn’t simply switch the water back on without the prior consent of the clients selling the property. To confirm, Jason agreed at the sellers cost to have the water system switched back on in order for you to check prior to completion as quickly as it was possible. As mentioned above, I would welcome the opportunity of discussing this with you in further detail on 0118 984 44 44.

We bought a house last year and our experience with PW is so bad that even one star is too much. A guy named Jason was assigned to us he is so ill mannered, as the house was not in ready to move in state and needed renovation so requested second viewing so that I can take builder along to get quotation for renovation and Jason’s words for the second request were “we can’t keep requesting the viewing as it cost them fuel everytime” and the property is just within a mile from their office. Every time I call him he is rude and not at all professional, the only reason to still keep talking to him and not being rude to him is my wife liked the property so much and she wanted to buy only this house. And just before the getting the key solicitor informed us we need to check if there is running water in the trap as it is illegal to complete the sale if there is no running water and on informing Jason about this he said “let’s stop this circus do you want to buy this house or not” and then solicitor have to talk to him how he can sell a house in such way. His attitude was always rude over phone if you ask him for any information his response is like do you want to but this house or not “I don’t think this house is for you”. When informing the solicitor about his behaviour she was also fed up with them as they were not communicating our requests to the seller and when solicitor demanded the mail proof he had nothing. Will never use their services again. Also want to mention Trudy as we spoke to her occasionally and she was too good.

This agency is renting out a property that was recently on the market with another agency that disclosed property damage by the landlord. The damage has not been fixed and they are playing the “we don’t know” card. This is dodgy and seems illegal but that’s ok because they claim to not know about it.

Very aggressive on negotiation, no flexibility.

As the owner of the business I take any complaints seriously and investigate fully. I would also be more than happy to discuss with you directly. In this particular case, the property you wished to rent had just been reduced by £55 per month, and the landlord was not willing to accept your offer of an even lower rent, especially given the fact that you could not move for 2 months and the property was vacant and available immediately. TENANTS AVOID! We lost out on a property because the agent incorrectly advised the landlord we had adverse credit!! (Before any referencing had taken place) No apology and not even a response to my email when I advised them of their mistake!!

I am sorry you have chosen to submit this review however what you have stated is simply incorrect and misleading. I have reviewed all the emails between my staff member and your self ( 10 in total ). The fact is you initially offered less than the asking price so the landlord simply went with the person that offered the full price first. It was nothing to do with the credit rating. In your email to us you stated "my credit rating isn't great" and my colleague discussed this with you and was satisfied that based on your explanation, that would not have been an issue. We did offer an alternative property however never received a response.
