Terrible professionalism, they say they will give you a return and they don't. I went to see a house and said I liked the house and would keep it. Then they said they would send the form by email and they didn't.
Viewed a property on monday morning with this Agency. Informed them im intrested and was told i'll recieve a email that same evening. Once i did not recieve a email i called them on Tueseday (next day) to enquire if i am still being considered. I was lied to by one of their un professional agents who said his sorting some parking details with the landlord and will email me immidiately after. This people lie and probably have complete disregard for peoples time as I never recieved a email and the property was given to some other tenant I do not understand why I was lied to as i would have looked for a different property the very next day. Shame on people who work in thier swindon office as they are un proffesional and provide people with misleading information. Terrible agency to deal with.NegativeProfessionalism
Well Had my viewing arranged for one day and that was turned down less than 24h before the viewing. Claiming the person who lives in the flat is ill. (saturday). Got rescheduled for monday (had a confirmation email) only to find out that I was basically forgotten about. Second time in a row I was let down. If thats what is happening with viewings I dont want to find out what is it like to let with theese guys..... Honestly I have no idea where all the 5 stars came from as I have been treated, well, unprofessionally is a very nice word to be used.
Initially we thought they were different from other estate agents but found in the end they did not tell the truth. We were told face to face by by the agents that in the property we were buying they had cleared some of the loft and in their words “there were a few Christmassy items left up there”. 2 of us have so far spent 5 hours clearing the loft, filling an entire mini skip at a cost of £200 with years of rubbish from clothes to a mattress, old school books, tv’s, boxes etc and have still not cleared it. I have photos to prove and a tradesperson witness who helped with clearance. Added to this, the shed was also full of rubbish and the garden has more rubbish and will need another skip to clear everything costing another £200 to fully clear what should have been already removed. I guess that will teach us not to be so trusting next time!
We was tenants with Belvoir certainty do not look after there Tenants we never got anything done we asked for ! Don't communicate at all with each other ! we never recommend then at all !
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAQUE!! They make plenty of promises then go back on their word once you are in a property of theirs. You're then stuck in a hell hole of a house for a year with them refusing to help get heating, double glazing, carpets and bathrooms fixed so that it's suitable for living in. They lie and treat you terribly so avoid unless you want to be treated like this!!
Got to be the worst letting agents around in MY opinion. They gave out keys like candy to children to our home to non CRB checked contractors, who let themselves in my home and walked in on my half dressed wife and poorly children. They came and went from our home anytime they saw fit, never keeping appointments. When we complained they defended their actions and never once apologised. When we got burgled by a paedophile out on licence for attempted murder, their attitude was "tough", they never offered us any help or support, we had to contact the landlord to request the locks got changed, oh and they still wanted to hand out our keys and come and go whenever they liked after we got burgled. They've never once apologised for their actions or the way they treated us and to top it off, when we were due to leave, the landlord said he was gutting the house so not to bother cleaning carpets etc, even though we still did, they still claimed money for carpet cleaning, knowing the carpets had been removed from the property and thrown away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If after our experience with Belvoir Lettings Swindon you are still willing to rent or let from them MORE FOOL YOU! We were eventually awarded compensation by The Property Ombudsman Scheme due to Gross Misconduct by Belvoir lettings Swindon.
