I would like to reassure you that we would never persuade anyone to pay more than they believe a property is worth. However, as estate agents, we are legally obliged to achieve the best possible price for our client while following their instructions, and this is something we do in every transaction. As you will recall, you secured the property for £25,000 below the asking price. I can only assume your review relates to the fact that our client chose not to accept your significantly reduced offer during the course of the transaction. As is always the case, it was entirely your decision whether to continue with the purchase or withdraw. I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with the property following completion, as mentioned in your review of your surveyor. However, those matters fall outside our involvement in the transaction.
