Our experience of Orchards estates has been nothing short of exceptional! They effortlessly mix professionalism with friendliness! From our first contact the staff have been efficient and warm. They always arrived in plenty of time before the scheduled viewings and we felt comfortable enough to give them a key so they were able to conduct viewings even if we weren't at home. The feedback was always relayed promptly and you were able to discuss how the property had been received and any interest the prospective buyers may have shown, along with their current market position (cash buyers, in a chain etc). The brochure was completed both quickly, and with care whilst the picture and video quality along with their keen attention to detail is second to none! Outstanding Service

As first time sellers we had no idea which estate agent to use, in the end we saw five agents back to back, Orchards were genuinely different in their approach and our gut instinct said to use them. Some of the other agents were quick to highlight the 'shortfalls' of using an 'online' agent and we did initially wonder if we had made the best choice. We both agreed though that we were impressed with what we had seen and it was only the lack of a shop window that really caused us any concern and which serious buyer only uses an agents shop window? Skip forward and how glad are we that we trusted that instinct.... 5 star service all the way, everything Orchards promised they delivered on, We did not think ours would be an easy property to sell but with a very proactive and professional approach, Orchards oversaw viewings at all hours were never late to appointments, kept us regularly informed and throughout whichever team member we spoke to, they were all very positive and helpful. A keeness to really understand what you need from an agent and great communication.

Orchards researched the market thoroughly before marketing our home. The buyers were appropriate and focussed. Communication was excellent but not intrusive. Charlotte was "on the case" throughout the selling process and was always available when we needed her. We felt very well served.

Disappointed

In general Orchards have been very helpful and proactive. However, we recently lost our buyers due to the fact that Tom didn't 'read' our situation with either understanding or empathy. We have an easily resolvable access problem which our solicitor is working on. It is so resolvable that our house insurance is paying our costs. Tom spooked our buyers into pulling out of the sale instead of referring them directly to us for the facts in their entirety. Subsequently we have lost the house of our dreams and a lot of angst has been caused on both sides. This situation required diplomacy and tact and a modicum of intelligence correctly executed. We are very saddened by the inept handling and write this so that this never happens to a future buyer and Tom learns from his bungling. I am hoping to salvage this uncomfortable situation, but that all depends on whether our buyer is still willing to listen. Yesterday I collected our key- I was barely acknowledged. Thank you Orchards.
