Disappointed

In general Orchards have been very helpful and proactive. However, we recently lost our buyers due to the fact that Tom didn't 'read' our situation with either understanding or empathy. We have an easily resolvable access problem which our solicitor is working on. It is so resolvable that our house insurance is paying our costs. Tom spooked our buyers into pulling out of the sale instead of referring them directly to us for the facts in their entirety. Subsequently we have lost the house of our dreams and a lot of angst has been caused on both sides. This situation required diplomacy and tact and a modicum of intelligence correctly executed. We are very saddened by the inept handling and write this so that this never happens to a future buyer and Tom learns from his bungling. I am hoping to salvage this uncomfortable situation, but that all depends on whether our buyer is still willing to listen. Yesterday I collected our key- I was barely acknowledged. Thank you Orchards.
