Day 47 after moving out of a John Shepherds rental property and still waiting for my deposit, which should have been returned to me within 10 days. Appalling service and would not recommend them.
Currently renting and it has been a nightmare. I’ve asked to make a formal complaint / speak to a manager 5 or 6 times and they refuse to reply. Unfortunately, will have to get a solicitor involved
Don't waste your time, they say they're going to follow up with viewing availability and then you find out 2 days later they let the property. Absolute joke.
I moved into a John Shepherd rental property in April and found that the property had rats. There was absolutely no urgency from John Shepherd to rectify the situation for me as a new tenant - pest control didn't attend the property until 5 days after the 1st rat was found. John Shepherd were terrible at answering the phone and there was no compensation provided for damage to my property by the rats. I wouldn't recommend John Shepherd to my friends, family or colleagues

The Fire brigade and National grid both confirmed the property is UNSAFE and the electric was faulty and never completed to the standard expected. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE LANDLORDS DETAILS AND WE ASKED MONTHS AGO THE WORST PEOPLE WE HAVE EVER RENTED WITH NOT ONLY DID THEY GIVE US AN UNSAGE PROPERTY THEY ALSO DIDNT CHECK THE SMOKE ALARMS AND THIS WAS COVERED WITH MASKING TAPE THE WHOLE PLACE IS DISGUSTING

Been trying to contact John Sheppard in Solihull for 3 days to try and view a property. Phoned and emailed with no response. I feel sorry for anyone who is trying to sell their property through these people as it seems impossible to arrange a viewing!
Spoke to a lady who was going to arrange a viewing for me and was told I was going to be called back after 4PM. This never happened, sent an email via Rightmove and still no response. Time wasters.
What a shambles of an organisation. The right hand has no idea what the left is doing. If you really have to deal with them, ask for Senka. At least you will have some hope of a positive outcome.
