Beware of this agency. They may treat landlords well, but certainly not tenants. When you report an urgent problem, do not count on a quick response. It's very possible that I just came across a stingy owner. This does not change the fact that they should not protect landlords who do not care about the health of a tenant who lives in a house where water is pouring down the walls and mold is growing literally everywhere. They don't even bother to give back the overpaid rent, you have to ask for your money. Not to mention the deposit, which I have been waiting for for over a month. I highly do not recommend it. Unfortunately googe does not have option to reply but I can't leave it without comment. Dear Daniel, I have to deny your words because they are not true. The problem with dampness began before the winter period. With stronger rain, water dripped from the walls. The first worker was probably paid by you to lie about the root of the dampness. As I continued to insist, you sent a decent builder who was horrified to see black mould in every corner. He confirmed that the house is for general renovation, requires a new roof and protection of the walls. Admitted that using a dehumidifier is useless in this case. This is not the lack of heating, which was turned on very often anyway. Otherwise without heating on and at least two extra jumpers, you could freeze in this house. And in response from, in your opinion, generous owners, I heard that now is not the time to do anything. I just wondering how many tenants before me have been treated this way renting this house. Now, when I moved out landlords decorating house to make it looks nice again, and want to use my deposit to clean after all this work. Ridiculous. Over the years of using various rental agencies, I have never encountered such treatment and never have had problems with getting deposit back. You're using my deposit but you have no documents or invoices for anything. Regards.

Dear Justyna, I would like to express my gratitude for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I deeply regret that your experience with our agency has left you unsatisfied. After a comprehensive review of your case, I feel compelled to address your concerns. The primary issues raised pertain to the presence of dampness during the winter months. We took the initiative to commission a professional survey to ascertain the root causes of this issue. The findings of the survey suggest that a significant portion of the dampness can be attributed to elevated humidity levels resulting from insufficient heating and ventilation. Additionally, there was a minor water ingress issue detected in the attic. In consultation with our builders, it was recommended that the necessary remediation work be scheduled for the upcoming spring season. In response to the challenging conditions you faced during the winter, the property owners, whom you referred to as 'stingy,' demonstrated their commitment to resolving the situation. They proactively reduced your monthly rent to assist with the increased heating costs and supplied a dehumidifier to address the humidity concerns. Regarding the status of your deposit, I wish to inform you that we are in the final stages of processing it. However, as of the time of composing this response, there are still some of your possessions remaining in the property. It is imperative that these items are promptly removed to facilitate the release of your deposit in accordance with our procedures. Once again, thank you for sharing your concerns with us. If you require any further assistance or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Warm regards, Daniel

Very concerning when you see a load of clearly fake reviews. All of them having done only 1 review ever, makes you look stupid and deceitful. Called to arrange a viewing and the girl who took the call was really slow and incompetent. Something else to put me off.

When I wrote to Daniel to inform him that a tenancy he had advertised through Belvoir Skipton, that we were living a nightmare in, failed a private water supply test - enterococci and coliforms were present in the tap water indicating fecal contamination (direct quote from Environmental Health via United Utilities laboratories) He replied that the landlord was flushing the pipes. What a reckless and irresponsible lettings agent. P.S. never even consider renting Cherry Tree Cottage, Sweetpea Farm, Earby Lancashire. Absolute disgrace.

Well I had a lovely day out in Skipton Market and on my way home I spotted myself in Belvoirs display window. I was happily muching on a butterd scone as I passed thinking of a nice cup of tea to wash it down with. So thank you Google maps for reminding me of that moment it was Nirvana.

Hi Allan, I hope you enjoyed your scone while browsing our office window, but very disappointed that you fined our window display is only worth 1 star!! Plenty of room for improvement, and we're open to suggestions.....

Belvoir Skipton put my fiancé & I through a forensic vetting process. Sadly, they did not do the same to our landlord(s). We discovered after our first night at the property that the water supply is not fit for human consumption. It came out of the taps yellow, smelling unpleasant, with visible debris. The heating that was advertised as biomass underfloor wasn't working, to the point where we were told by our landlords that the boiler had been condemned three years prior. The backup electric heaters that we were assured would be sufficient to make up for this then began to fall off the walls, as they were secured onto the plasterboard only by plasterboard wall plugs, not safely screwed into masonry or batons. We have informed the local authority, and we fully intend to take our case to the property ombudsman just as soon as Belvoir Skipton respond to our litany of complaints.

Hi Nathan I am sorry that my question upset you. This was never my intention, but it was, in my opinion a perfectly legitimate question to ask, and one that the landlord did indeed ask me when I presented your application to him. Apologies again and I wish you all the best with your property search. Kind regards Daniel

Rented from them but everything was done on the cheap. If anything had to be fixed they bodged it the first time then had to come round again to fix it properly
