Dominic Clements marketed our property for us expertly. The photos taken were professional and truly showed off the house and garden ! Very friendly team in Royston and we were pleased with the service received.
We have recently bought a property through Thomas Morris and although it has been quite stressful returning from living abroad the Royston team helped to ensure the whole process ran smoothly. They were quick to answer our queries and we were often in touch with Fiona, who was on hand to calmly and professionally deal with any issues to do with the purchase. She kept us up to date at all stages and her knowledge and experience was invaluable. Thank you.
Some communication based issues which were resolved promptly by the manager. The number of stars relates more to my frustration about not securing a property than it does the service - as am not a customer therefore not experienced their services. Hope they are proactive if other flats in the areas of interest we noted come up.

Constant rubbish through the letterbox
The staff I dealt with were generally welcoming and friendly. My issue with this estate agent is their shocking referencing process. First of all the referencing process itself was literally a conversation with an AI bot on some website. I never even spoke with a real person from their so called ‘referencing team’. This AI bot they have doing their referencing checks found that my partners mum had a CCJ from six years ago (when my partner was a mere seventeen year old boy). As far as I know this should not affect us because the ccj was related to my partners mum- who would not have any part in renting the property! Following this they, *without checking with us*, immediately offered the flat we had applied for to somebody else and kept our holding deposit ‘as a forfeit for providing misleading information’ (which we didn’t even do). Yay! To my understanding you do not need to disclose that you have adverse credit just because a family member *who is not applying to rent the property* has adverse credit. Let me reiterate this ccj had nothing to do with us. We think it flagged up because it’s related to his current address as he currently lives with his mum. All they had to do was call us first and say ‘are you aware you have a ccj from 2019?’ Before offering the flat to somebody else. We could have got to the bottom of it pretty quickly. But never mind. Anyway it’s a shame because the people we dealt with up until this point were totally fine. They just need an actual referencing team (and if they do have one they need one that actually does their job) and I think it would be good practice for them to double check before offering your property to somebody else based on poorly checked information.
