Do not give your property to this estate agents ! Payments are late, they don't keep on top of the maintenance or the property nor inform you there is a issue until your property is ruined! Brian s a lier and gives out contracts to the tenants that you haven't agreed! And sharon is rude ! And this is the landlord on a friends accountNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Kind regards Northwood Romford Office Dear 'Mr Adams' We have looked through all of our recent correspondence and now know which of our valued landlords you are. As You rightly state there were occasions when your payment was received a day or so late. This was during the concerning global pandemic that we all faced as a Nation, when our Staff were working from Home as were all the Banking staff. The clearing system as a whole was under a huge strain throughout the whole country. Most of our Landlords were very grateful they did not suffer financially and I can confirm you received every payment due to you, in full, within the 14 day period as stated in our contract. I can also confirm there was a maintenance issue at your property and you kindly arranged for a contractor to attend, investigate and repair. However, the reason they could not gain access was because the Tenant's in situ suffered the worse kind of bereavement of a very close family member. It was an extremely sad, stressful and heart rendering time for the Family and household repairs, understandably, were not high on their list of priories and access to your Contractor was put on hold. We as a Company were understanding of this and any additional damage caused by problem (a small leak on the toilet) to the skirting board was repaired and paid for by us as a Company to go some way to make up for any delay that occurred. We are now pleased to say all is now in order, although the Family in question are still very much struggling to come to terms with their loss. Simply put, Brian does not lie and Sharon is not rude, but we do accept that you found the whole episode very frustrating and this may be your view of our responses on occasion. We hope this clarifies our position and assure you we are trying our very best to accommodate the best interests of both our Landlords and Tenants at all times. Kind regards Northwood Romford

I have been there few times filled paper work out and still get refused even though I have the money coming in and good credit they dont seem to care Ithe group viewings are a waste of time and unprofessional for other others i would not recommend this estate agents at all

I would strongly recommend steering well clear of the Eastbourne branch of Northwood UK. Completely unlawfully, their staff instructed the disconnection of my flats water supply which was a shared supply with one of the properties that they let, leaving my tenant and his young family without any hot or cold running water. Despite this clearly being a shared supply, most likely since the flats were originally converted some 30 years ago, I was accused of stealing water from their property, even though my tenant pays water on a rateable value! In trying to resolve this in an amicable way, I found the member of staff that I dealt with to be rude, unneccessarily argumentative and aggressive, with a callous lack of empathy for the appalling situation that she had caused. Despite escalating this to Director level within the Eastbourne branch, they continue to bury their head in the sand and deny any wrongdoing leaving this situation unresolved and the family without their water supply. Given the awful behavious exhibited, I would not want these people managing any of my properties on my behalf, neither would I want to be a tenant having to deal with them in a regular basis. A terrible business and would get 0 stars if that was an option.

How this company have business I do not know!!! So I’m interested in a property they have placed on right move, so I call them (5/6 times) and get no answer so I decided to email them to find out more details. It takes 2 days for someone to come back to me and it’s a text with a date and time for a viewing. I then try calling again no answer so I email back to say ok I’m happy to go ahead with the viewing (even though it’s not what I asked) but can I make it at 6 rather then half 5 and get no response. I then call again and this time I get an answer but told there’s no one in lettings. I mean come on talk about lack of customer service!!

Rubbish. Accepted my £2000 deposit put my application in then got refused by landlord,struggling to get deposit back.
