Hi, anyone got any message or update from Northwood Romford insolvency agent? I am a landlord, last 4 and half years I was with Northwood. They never ever paid my rent on time . Now my rent is overdue for 13 days. When I called some time someone answered and shouted at me. They say contract head office. No answer from head office, no reply for email. I am really under stress. My property is 3 bedrooms house Last four years they are not even paying a two bedroom house rent . No rent review, tenants say they are taking direct debit from their account. One day their head office say go to ombudsman. Landlord please be aware, don’t put your property to this agency. Thanks
Same as others around Nov/ Dec 2024. In decline since May 24 when every payment started to be late & random, with no communication. Other bills affected. Certainly not 'Guaranteed' risk free/ stress free or 'on time' every month 😂. Romford office (Scott Wilding) now with the Insolvency specialist/ Bankrupt. Now have my property back, but out of pocket and with a Tenant in property. Waiting to hear from Insolvency specialist for any money owed. Head office promised Insolvency will be in touch by 02nd Dec. Still not heard anything. Probably best to avoid the closely conected Southend, Clacton/ colchester, Brentwood franchise Branches.
Do NOT trust this company! I am a landlord and Northwood have not paid 'guaranteed rent' on 3 properties. Where is the guarantee in this? They do not answer the phone or reply to any emails. Will take legal action against them now. AVOID.
I am a Landlord and they have been late on their guaranteed rent payment for the past 5 months. The service has really deteriorated in the last 2years.
as a landlord i would not recommend this company as they are very late paying the rent to you, my tenant also tells me that northwood take ages to respond to any queries, the last 4-5 months my rent has been 2-3 weeks late and this month is 2 weeks overdue already and you can never get to call them on phone as phone always goes to voicemail and they never call you back
As of today the 15th of Nov, I am officially in debt because Northwood has refused to pay me. This has been happening for the past 4 months at least, where they have been paying late. This month is the worst so far. We email/call and get no reply. I would mention that for the past 7 years that we have been using Northwood, we have had exceptional service, It's a shame that it has now come to this. If they are having liquidity issues, the least they can do is communicate and let us know exactly when we would be paid, not replying to emails or picking calls is absolutely unprofessional and shameful. I would not be renewing my contract once this current one ends.
