As tenants who work on variable pay, passing referencing in order to rent is super difficult but through Ashton’s and especially with Colin’s help, finding ways to improve our referencing application and show how committed we can be as tenants was an absolute life saver! We had been searching for a property for 3 months and with 2 weeks left to move out of my current property, we were starting to lose hope! This rating is mainly for Kirsty Twydell (individual), people make companies, Kirsty works within the letting department, though I have been underwhelmed by the service I received from the lettings department specifically the (management) which resulted in my decision to use an alternative company, I only wish Kirsty was involved when I tried complaining and asked that we come to an amicable solution on the pricing/management fees, this never happened, resulting in me terminating my contract and moving on to an online platform which cost me less than 10% of what Ashtons lettings had charged me, plus this property was let within a week of my advert, my decision to leave Ashtons has saved me over £1k of fees. Thank u Kirsty for helping make my leaving process less painful. Disclaimer: My complaint does NOT relate to the Redbourn sales office which I have used for over 10years, they are still by far the best letting agent in the village/ county.

We found when using Astons they where very supportive in renting our property out and the procedures that needed to happen. Our calls where always returned by Alf Ciraolo and anything needing explantation was covered by him in a polite professional manor. We have been with other Letting Agents and had be let down considerably. We would definetly recommend Astons as they made it easy and hassle free.

I found the Ashtons Estate Agency to be very professional and supportive during what turned out to be a prolonged house moving experience as a result of some legal issues with our sale. The process of viewing and agreeing a price for our new home was seamless, and from this point to the the completion date Emily has been in regular contact to seek updates, and where required to help progress potential issues. All enquiries were dealt with in a professional and courteous manner, and we even managed to have a few laughs along the way.
