Loved these guys - met James early 2019 before I started renovations on my property. He gave informed advice on what would be a priority with renters, areas to focus on and realistic monthly rental. He stayed in touch frequently throughout the refurb, provided a spot on valuation and had a number of viewings lined up as soon as I said go. If I was to sum up our experience with Winkworth into one sentence it would be “In terms of selling our house Winkworth was the best decision we could have made.” Currently the housing market isn’t the best and the estate agents we had round to value our house prior to putting it on the market painted a horrible picture and priced our house to match the “tough market conditions”, especially as we were looking at putting it on the market during December. We then thought about waiting a year or two to put our house on the market, until we had Winkworth come round. Robin was an absolute pleasure and he is an asset to the company he works for; his passion for his job and his general demeanor made us feel like Winkworth were the best fit for us. They priced our house fairly and from the moment we signed the contract were straight out to take pictures and marketing the property to all potential buyers and had several viewings booked in with 72 hours with an offer which we accepted. Things didn’t quite work out with our original buyers and they pulled out before exchange, which led to a few very stressful few days. Robin told us not to worry and that he would find us a buyer again, true to his word within 72 hours we had an offer on the table again, which Robin worked hard to chase all the way through meaning the whole chain could still complete on the proposed time we wanted. We can’t thank Robin and the team at Winkworth enough for all the hard work they have put in!
