Started out ok then I quickly reached the conclusion that this agency is just like others around the area sadly.
RMJ Rainham Branch managed the rental of my property. The repairs they arranged were expensive and the work was substandard, after the first two issues I managed all repairs myself even though I still paid a monthly fee. I was overcharged by £400.00 for the repairs they arranged. The error was only discovered by myself two years later. When I queried where my money had been for two years, I was told it was in a suspense account. I received aprox £42 compensation. Most questions I had were met with “well it’s a grey area”. It took 77 days to receive a reply to my complaint.

Absolutely awful company to be using for Lettings. The Lettings department is definitely one the worst I’ve dealt with whilst renting and I can say my partner and I are blessed that we didn’t fully take the property on. Lies after lies and the lack of communication between them, us and homelet during referencing. The fact that Homelet was still doing our referencing after these idiots decided to move onto the next tenants speaks volumes. We had to inform Homelet that we weren’t going forward with the property any further 😂 oh and don’t get me started about the lies revolving getting our holding deposit back… not again and please don’t go for this company if you don’t want to be scammed.
Had them in for a valuation. Extremely disappointing, 3 bed extended semi off road parking big garden. And completely self contained 1 bed annex at the end of the garden.on a very popular road backing on to school car park. And they said £375000 talk about undervalued. 🤯 …
Been asked to leave a review so OK. Tried to take money from my deposit for things that had literally nothing to do with me, for example, when I moved in, there was a whole load of junk filling up the entire shed so I had no use for the whole tenancy. They then tried to take my money because "I" left the rubbish in there. Then after 5 working days, I hadnt received my deposit back. I was kept being told that it had been requested. Someone finally decided to check it and they had put my bank details in wrong so had to wait another 5 working days to get it. That's just the end of tenancy... I won't go into what I had to go through when I lived there
I AND MY DAD WERE TREATED UNFAIRLY BY THEM.OUR DEPOSIT WERE DEDUCTED FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT OUR FAULT AT ALL. WENT TO TDS NOW FOR DISPUTE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AS SOME OF THEIR MEMBER HAS NO RESPECT AND VERY UNKIND (KELLY) WHICH I RAISED THE FORMAL COMPLAINT WITHIN THE OFFICE THAT I HOPE THEY WOULD LOOK INTO AS THEY SEEM TO COVER EACH OTHER. NO VOICE RECORDING SYSTEM IN PLACE. KELLY HAS BEEN DENYING AND I HAVE NO EVIDENCE TO PROVE.
