Awful and unprofessional. Do not recommend

⭐ 1 Star My experience with Ryder & Dutton has been extremely distressing. After purchasing my property, I discovered that Japanese knotweed had previously been identified near the property. I have since incurred significant costs for surveys, valuations and a proposed treatment plan, and the issue has delayed my landscaping project and affected my enjoyment of my home. What I find most concerning is that Ryder & Dutton’s response to my complaint is that I was allegedly informed verbally before completion. I do not recall being properly informed of the extent of the issue and have seen no written evidence that this information was clearly disclosed to me before I committed to purchasing the property. There was already a Japanese knotweed report in existence, and the vendor was aware of the issue. In my view, this information should have been fully documented and provided so that I could make an informed decision before proceeding. I am now pursuing the matter through the appropriate complaints process. Buyers should ensure that any environmental issues, including Japanese knotweed, are fully disclosed and evidenced in writing before purchasing a property.

We travelled from London, had the viewing booked weeks in advance due to poor flexibility from the agents, we got stuck driving up and was told if we wanted to view the house it would be 10 minutes we could view, shame as we were excited to view and ready to go won’t be going with Ryder and Dutton again

Contacted them on several occasions to book a viewing or make offer they simply avoided doing any as they had multiple viewing and are awaiting on Thier decisions. Extremely odd 😕. Sent request within 10days of them advertising a property. …

Awful company, they took absolutely forever to give us the keys. It should not take this long for a payment to be pending. I am extremely upset!
