Professional Polite and well organised

We have used Robert Oulsnam a number of times over the years to both buy and sell. More recently the Northfield office dealt with the sale of my dads flat. My dad suffered an initial disappointment with a sale falling through on a sheltered housing flat he was buying, but successfully secured a sale with the Bournville office. Both offices worked wonderfully well together to make the process run smoothly. Gary and Ann were wonderful and very compassionate with my dad. Gary provided great customer care after service too to check on how we were as I was going through breast cancer at the time and my dad had a spell in hospital. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Oulsnam time and time again for their high standards of customer care.

Trying to think of a negative but cannot. I originally went to a competitor on Harborne High St to sell my house in Weoley Hill, as I knew it would compare favourably with the value of properties there, but was shocked by the Agent I had engaged and returned to Oulsnam, from whom had bought the property some years previously. Competent and proactive - yes, but TRUST is a big thing, and they have been trustworthy from start to finish. Thank you.

Selling property on the BVT can be more complex than in other areas . We needed to purchase the freehold before we could sell ,but Oulsnam suggested we market the house as freehold on completion so we could find a buyer as soon as possible.. I am not sure another Estate agent would have offered that option. Oulsnam and particularly Natalie were brilliant. The first viewing we had a credible offer for the house and Natalie patiently kept in touch with me, the solicitors and our buyers during a process that took ,longer than any of us thought due to delays in the process to purchase the freehold and then an issue with the buyers mortgage. However today we have completed the purchase. Other companies may offer flat fees but in my opinion you get what you pay for . I feel I have paid a reasonable price for the very good service I have had. I would not hesitate to use them again as either a buyer or a seller.

We used Oulsnam to sell our property. Extremely profesional team and made sure we knew what was happening at every step of the process. Gary looked after our sale and he really too care of our best interests. We hit an issue with the property we were purchasing, the solicitors and other advisors bombarded us with industry jargon, Gary on the other hand reviewed what was happening and put it into simple terms to esure we had all of the information. Gary also gave sound advice and really took the stress out of a number of desicions. A very welcome addition was that Gary ensured he called us each week to give updates on our progress; he was always a step ahead. Would highly recomend their services.

I would highly recommend this estate agent who helped me sell my house in Northfield in August 2019. The office staff were always courteous and professional, even when there was a hiccup just before the exchange of contracts was due. This company did a good job in getting me the sale in what was a challenging market; in particular, I am grateful to Natalie Richards and Alison Nock for their efforts.
