Shocking will never use this company again worst communication skills ever as a company would not recommend !!! Lived in a mouldy house for 6 months and they have not done nothing about it f**king useless !!!!!!!! And top it off still kept my deposit and said it was my fault !!!
they are evicting me from a shared accomodation because they have had noise complaints from next door, they wouldnt belive me when i said it wasnt me making the noise, so i had each member of the household write a letter too back this up say im a good resident and that it wasnt me making the noise but when i told them this they said its too late for that now, since my eviction i have found new properties to move into but no other letting agences trust me as belvoir have given me a bad reference, its a shame because i gave up my flat too live in a shared accomodation so i would be closer to college, but now i am homeless and living in a tent, ive had too sell all my possesions as i dont trust keeping them in the tent, they have ruined my life and i havent done a thing wrong. Belvoir lettings, cruel to be cruel, kind to be decieving!
Absolutely disgraceful service! We were lied to about the property in the first instance telling us that it was like for like in comparison to another one we viewed... it was quite the opposite. Now one month since we left and no deposit back although we've been granted a full refund. Only now after chasing for the 5th time, we have to go to the landlord, even though they were sending a cheque last week to us? Diabolical. Will never use Belvoir again.
I have had 4 properties with them for over 10 years. In each property I have had issues, that ended up costing me money. They don't check properties often (in one I had a butterfly mural painted on an entire wall, which they failed to spot). Overall every property ended up damaged and costing me money each year - I estimate Belvoir cost me between �30,000 - �50,000 in repairs - don't touch them!!
Most awful agent. Had awful experience with the so called director dealing with maintenance issues-being heating and hot water-to the point I had to call environmental health who stepped in- I was quickly told to leave the property by them and 2 weeks later still no final inspection, no deposit and there is now a formal complaint to the ombuddsman and is I am in the process of starting court proceedings-do not rent from these people- I have a child with health issues and they didnt seem to care there was mould, no hot water for a number of time and certainly a lack of heating and a dangerous hanging heater in my sons room-and also aparently illegal windows. *

Whatever you do, do not use this letting agents!!! They are worse than useless, they actually make life more difficult for you. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
We have rented from Belvoir! for a couple of years, and the process of getting in is more expensive than most, so you expect better service. They do not actually provide good service though. Contacting Belvoir for any reason leads to a long wait on a phone line, followed by being cut off. When leaving Belvoir, they will take everything they can off you. We were told that they wanted to take away 80% of our deposit, so called the landlord, who said that he had told them that only 15% is was he asked them for. They then took it upon themselves to start charging us for other things that the landlord did not see as an issue, just standard wear and tear! Stay clear of these guys, *.
I used Belvoir as a first time landlord. Initially everything was fine, but then one day I got a call stating that the cooker spur lead to the meter would need replacing at a cost of around £1,500 + VAT. I got a second opinion from an electrician, and they tested the lead, and found the problem was with the hob itself - solution replace the hob. At the end of the tenancy I paid Belvoir to put the property back in the condition it was at the start of the tenancy - this included the garden, but "due to the weather" this wasn't done. I had to pay another gardener £200 to sort out the garden which Belvoir have never reimbursed me for. They took the money and never organised the work. Belvoir use a property management company - Westone - The directors are the same 2 directors as Belvoir, but this conflict of interest is never pointed out to you. *
