The Quick Response of the Property Management Department

Unfortunately our house mate failed to find some of the issues with the property before we moved in (I am a student at Northumbria University so at the time of viewing the house I was living at the other end of the country as it was out of term time). However after recognising some of the issues when we moved in at the start of term (late August), we forwarded this to the property management department and they were very quick at dealing with said problems, and also tried their best at receiving any additional furniture from the landlord that we needed on short notice. Any problems we have had since, the management department has dealt with in at least 24hrs (e.g. when the washing machine broke) and also providing information and forwarding us to the right people in particular situations (e.g. when the key broke in the front door lock).

In the 8 months I have been a tenant with Mansons, I have found them to be very efficient and reliable.

Everything is simple and quick

This is my first time to move, though I have lived in Newcastle for three years. I went to different agencies before coming across Mansons. Previous experiences were really tiring, as properties are mostly disappointing(look different from website picture) and the offices gave stressful feeling. I didn't expect much when I visited Mansons office, but surprisingly the office is very nice and peaceful and the staffs are friendly and helpful and most importantly they don't push you like most Sales did. I signed to the first property that I viewed. All the processes have been pretty easy and straight-forward. Really glad to find this one! Both the property and the agent. Hope this satisfaction is to be maintained in future encounters.

Both times they have been very flexible with viewings and not wasted my time with properties I wouldnt want to live in. I had left a good review quite a while ago but having just seen it I feel I must put it straight. I only left it as mansons gave amazon vouchers to their staff to have family and friends leave 5 star reviews! Probably still do it to this day. I can pick out at least 8 on here that are friends of current or past staff. Have a nice day.

Sept '21; Unfortunately the excellent service as described previously (and i am sure is still evident) has been overshadowed by the very disappointing 'check-out' experience. There is an awful lot one can say about this, but in short, be aware that when you end your agreement and check out, ensure you look into every single element of the property clean or you will be charged a disproportionate amount to rectify. Unfortunately, in the pandemic world we were unable to revisit after our cleaner visited and as such there was overlooked dust in the crease of a sofa, dust under a bed and on top of a cupboard, but what a simple 5 min hoover would fix a charge of £100 was made and even then evidence gathered showed they too missed the sofa crease! I don't doubt the service before and during our rental, but this left a particularly sour taste and when contested through the bond appeal process it was independently judged to have been too much and we got a proportionate refund.
