Tim Hughes of Belvoir Newbury is all the things one hopes for in a letting agent and very often doesn't find! Tim is professional, has integrity, always has a smile and nothing is too much trouble for him. He has made letting my flat as stress free and easy as it ever could be. I couldn't recommend him more.
Tim has been brilliant. A tenant was found quickly, marketing was very good and paperwork simple and honest. Tim helped with a schedule of works which needed doing to the property before being let which was fabulous and very much appreciated. Tim has consistently exceeded our expectations. Such a refreshing change to find a letting agent so dedicated, honest and professional.
Very impressive service from Tim Hughes at Belvoir Lettings, Newbury. Photographed our new flat and marketed it before completion, with tenants moving in four days after completion. Very communicative and keen to get everything right. Also has very good links with trades. Highly recommended.
Outstanding service and quality. Tracy at the Newbury office was amazing 👍 and a positive professional attitude.PositiveQuality
Attentive to detail
I dont know where they have moved too
Avoid, sided with the landlord at every opportunity possible to try and extract as much money out of the tenant. Don't let the good reviews fool you, they are as mediocre as any other letting agent.
Poor experience over two encounters. Agent very unprofessional and unfriendly, felt like we were an inconvenient. Had to chase the branch multiple times for a decision on an offer. Will be avoiding Belvoir going forward.
Please avoid Belvoir Newbury. We’ve been trying to buy a property with them but they have lied through their teeth at every stage. There was a legal problem with the land registry docs which means the owner cannot legally sell the property without a signature from his “evil ex” (term frequently used by Belvoir. Very professional…) We have been lied to at every turn. They finally tried to force us to exchange with no evidence the legal issue was sorted (totally against our solicitor’s advice) or they would re-market the house, which they have done, waiting for another buyer to not notice the land registry issue. Don’t touch them, and please don’t be fooled into wasting time on the property we were ready to buy. Belvoir / Tim, don’t bother to come back and make excuses on this review, you know non of this was above board. Thanks for wasting our time and money.NegativeQuality, Professionalism
