Supported a rapid sale with professionalism

Purchased from out of area and appreciated staff excellent local knowledge of property values and sales patterns, all delivered with a friendly manner. Communication, updates and general support during the process was good, particularly at the point of negotiation. Provided excellent suggestions on local surveyors and solicitors. Would strongly recommend.

House sale

I have recently sold my house with Dawson's in Mumbles. The assistance that I have had from the staff in the Mumbles office, to find a new home, has been great. They have kept me informed about new properties, that were coming onto the market and have shown a genuine interest in my need to find a new home. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and I am only sorry that I eventually found a property with another agent. I really would have liked to buy a property with Dawson's to thank them for all their efforts. Thanks for all your patience with our many viewings !

Having booked a set stop when I returned I still had to wait 30 mins

If you want an estate agent that actually knows how to communicate, go with Reeds Rains. We wasted months with Manning, got absolutely nowhere, switched to Reeds Rains, and -shock- our house sold in days. Manning’s communication was, frankly, a joke. They cancelled viewings without bothering to phone us, never seemed to know what was happening with our property, and we could never get a straight answer about who was even responsible for it. They even gave us information that turned out to be totally wrong—twice. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The place runs like no one there has the faintest idea what they’re doing.

There were a couple of viewing cancellations during the time we marketed your property, and on each occasion, we attempted to notify you, including via text message. We’re very sorry if any message was not received. The main point of disagreement during the marketing of your property was how it could legally be advertised. The upper rooms did not have the required building regulations for use as bedrooms, which meant we were not legally permitted to market the property as a four bedroom home. We explained this clearly, as we must follow advertising standards to avoid misrepresentation for both our clients and ourselves. It’s important to note that we operate on a no sale, no fee basis. We invested significant time, effort, and marketing costs into your property without any charge to you. When you chose to withdraw, we could have enforced the contractual notice period, but we released you immediately as a gesture of goodwill. We understand you have now successfully moved, and we genuinely wish you all the very best for the future. We remain committed to offering honest, accurate, and compliant advice to all clients, even when that means delivering guidance that may not be what someone hoped to hear. Kind regards.

Very poor experience with Dawson’s Swansea I do not recommend Dawson’s Swansea. The property was poorly maintained — the oven didn’t work for 10 months, the shower never got hot, the garden was overgrown, and the children’s bedroom carpet was unsafe. I never received or signed a proper check-in report or photos. After only one year, the landlord increased the rent by 17%, prompting us to move out. Now they are attempting to claim £3,500 under Flatfair, the maximum amount, despite my tenancy being one year and all payments made on time. This claim is completely unfair and shows a lack of professionalism and fairness.
